As for the request for help I want to develop my fables but I'm struggling coming up with sections to do so! Right now I have personality, powers, relationships, and general trivia (though I'm struggling here). Any suggestions for stuff I could add?

wow!! everyone has made/gotten such amazingly cool art! I will have to try my hand at drawing Bishop and Jules when I have some more free time coming up in a few weeks. I wanted to drop my toyhouse pages for the boys. Jules is a lot less done than Bishop's, so that'll get done soonish ( i've got a research paper to finish up this week ;.; )

@butterdragon I had a tough time coming up with trivia for my fables as well, I feel like that's normally something I don't tend to naturally think about for my ocs unless prompted. For Bishop's toyhouse (not quite there yet with Jules), I just tried to think of something a little deeper than a like or a dislike. Though they could build off of each other; like Bishop's like for hand-embroidered clothing and his secret wish for a fancy outfit, but they don't necessarily have to! You could potentially hint at future lore if you have anything like that picked out, otherwise I just try to think of answers to some creative questions like dream/nightmare job, if they were in a band what instrument would they play, quick list of hobbies, etc. Hopefully something in here can help spark something for you!

with bezel's permission, i have created a YFH (your fable here :p) lineart for the group!

Hi to all :] I have been waiting to get my first fable before posting here and now that I've acquired a beauty thanks to ilya, I would like to officially introduce Rauru.

He already has a place in the world I have been developing alongside some of my friends (shoutout to hellevi, certified, and voltaire) to which I'll include some notes about below:

Gilverûn (the fables realm / world)
a large enchanted forest that consists of the kingdoms of spring, summer, fall, and winter.
aren is the kingdom of spring, ebbin is the kingdom of summer, valin is the kingdom of fall, and lastly kovarlin is the kingdom of winter.

for those that live in the other realm (literally just basic Earth), there is a dense forest (otherwise known as the lost woods) that protects Gilverûn. there is a very specific path that someone from the outside must take to enter Gilverûn, otherwise the forest will redirect you back to the beginning. no one has been able to breach the lost woods to date.

there is one being that serves as the guardian to Gilverûn. this guardian is able to feel the forest and any disruptions in its harmony. in a state of dormancy, this guardian takes on the form of a tree that sits in the middle of Gilverûn where each of the four kingdoms meet. though in a state of emergency, this guardian is able to take on any form (though taking on the form of a fable is most common).

each kingdom has a leadership figure. each leader is appointed to the council that gathers once per month to discuss any and all happenings in Gilverûn. the council will also gather for any emergencies.

With Rauru's introduction, he is being designated as the leader of Ebbin, which means that I get to start working on the fun parts of not only developing his personality and how he functions as a leader, but also figuring out all the fun dynamics on how Ebbin is ran and how the kingdom in itself looks, which I'm very excited to do.

At some point when enough has been fleshed out for the entire world, I'm hopefully going to be able to commission a map of the world so myself and others who have decided to join me can get a full visual on what we're working with. I'm looking forward to being able to hopefully share more with y'all down the line! ^^

peeking in hello!! I've been lurking for a bit, but I've managed to win my first fable, so I figure I can finally say hi! My new guy is Perrin, with his super cute classical unicorn vibes c: I was so excited about winning him that I had to rush off and draw him the other night!

I'm still thinking over what exactly I want his lore (and the lore of any of my future fables) to be, and I kind of want to gijinka him, so I'll probably be back to blather some more soon!

my own herd is looking for some alliances or enemies! i don’t have a map yet but they live in a relatively mountainous territory. they’re a people of healers mostly but also have a warrior’s guild. the herd is run by a council and a leader, the “solflare”. they have a guardian creature, called the brighida, who most closely resembles a very (very) large puma. the brighida had a deal with the (now dead) royal family to protect herd cindara so long as they keep their hearths burning to fuel her power. fairly peaceful but have gone thru some wars in the past when the solflare hasn’t been so kind/council members acting out of personal interest. also many like to come study with their healers here because they’re some of the best in the world/continent.

my fable taejin traveled a bit before joining cindara so would love to do some development on him in that regard if anyone has other herds/civilizations he could’ve visited/passed thru.
