Thanks so much for your answers! I really appreciate the lore and world building. Are there magical plants in this world, or just regular plants that can be used in magical recipes? For a Potions class, what equipment is used (cauldrons or beakers/flasks)?

Personality:
Lila is incredibly disciplined and focused, striving for perfection in everything she does. She's quiet but friendly, always willing to lend a hand or offer advice, especially to those struggling academically. Lila is thoughtful, often reflecting on her actions and how they might impact others. She has an innate sense of responsibility, feeling a need to set a good example for those around her. Though she’s studious and determined, she’s not without her sense of humor, and she enjoys small, quiet moments of fun with friends. She has a soft spot for nature, particularly the way the winter landscape transforms, and enjoys quiet walks through the garden areas and forest when she needs to clear her mind.

Background:
Lila comes from a family of esteemed magical practitioners, many of whom specialize in different branches of magic, but she’s drawn to her Winter magic roots. Her family has always valued academic excellence, so she was raised with a strong work ethic. When she received her acceptance letter to Featherwick, it was the culmination of years of hard work and preparation.

However, despite her academic prowess, she’s not immune to the challenges of her chosen path. Lila holds herself to a high standard, which can sometimes cause her stress, but she uses her determination as a strength.

Lila is a straight-A student, excelling in both her magical and academic subjects. Her teachers consistently praise her attention to detail and her eagerness to contribute to class discussions.

Kai typically wears the Summer track uniform with pride, the forest green and ocean blue details standing out against his darker skin tone. His cape is often draped over one shoulder, and he’s usually seen with a grin on his face, a clear sign of his easygoing personality.

She is deeply committed to fostering a supportive environment for all students, encouraging them to explore both traditional and non-traditional forms of magic. I’d love to talk about character relationships as well! Here are my current two (my third will be a teacher).
For any boyfriends or girlfriends, I’d like for our characters to be friends first.

Theo - 2nd Year Autumn. In his first year, he was brave and confident. During the middle of it, and up to today, he is now very anxious and socially awkward due to an event nobody knows about. He IS nice, however, and some of the anxiety seems to be a mask he’s putting on. Can become friends with others, it just takes time if they don’t know him already (2nd/3rd Years are more likely to have a pre-established friendship with him).

Belle - 1st Year Summer. Very kind and friendly, and also quite self-confident. Loves to share her interests with others, especially reading, and also likes helping other students with work-related problems they might be having.

It’d be fun for Theo and Luc to be friends! Maybe their friendship started before Theo became anxious, but grew more afterwards. I think Theo would make an effort to learn more French to understand Luc, but doesn’t speak it unless it’s the only language being spoken or it’s being spoken alongside Spanish (it’s easier for him to speak one language at a time because otherwise he’d spend too long trying to remember the right translations for words from Spanish).

I think Belle and Lila could be friends, because of a shared interest in studying and tutoring others. Maybe there’s a friendly rivalry between them.

Sirenn is nervous, basically has anxiety, so maybe they could have bonded somehow over that? Also, Serena being friendly and such, maybe she could have actually pushed them to be friends.

I feel like Belle and Serena could be friends? Idk.

Luc can speak English decently well now, though he retains his French accent and slips into French on occasion. He may also ask Theo to teach him Spanish because he’s interested in learning. I think they’d make great friends, with Luc being more friendly and outgoing and Theo being more reserved. They balance each other out.

I think that Belle and Lila being friends sound great! Maybe they have a friendly bet every exam to see who can score higher? I think they both could definitely test each other sometimes too like friends do haha!

Could Lila and Mildred study together? Maybe Lila would have seen Mildred struggling in their classes together and offered to help? Mildred is too stubborn to ask for guidance, but I could see her warming up to Lila and eventually seeking extra help from her after class.
