Wired wrote:Since CS is still a children’s game it would be cool to see an awareness litter (or litters) based off of common invasive species like Norway rats, European starlings, European honeybees even if they weren’t necessarily drawn on the rat lines (like a bee could be a butterfly wolf or something)
This could be kind of odd because CS is based out of Australia so perhaps the species could be based off of the most invasive animals in individual countries/continents (the ones I mentioned are mostly invasive in North America)
CS is from New Zealand, actually! But invasive species are a giant issue in NZ as well, perhaps even more so than Australia, because NZ originally had NO land mammals, so the feral ones are wreaking extra havoc, especially rats and cats.
On a totally different note...
For Valentine's Day, I absolutely loved the realistic swans and lovebirds from 2022, and I would love to see more realistic animals that are biologically monogamous for Valentine's Day this year. (These could also be cute items, not just pets.)
Ideas:
Penguins (also a nod to queer partnerships, think of the gay zoo penguins getting married, hatching an egg together etc.)
Shingleback skink (one of the only known monogamous reptiles; probably on Western Dragon EPPS line)
Prairie vole (on dwarf hamster line)
Coppery titi monkey (monkey line ofc)
Laysan albatross (fun fact, around 30% of the pairs are lesbian; chicken line)
Atlantic puffin
Cranes (fun fact, I met a lesbian couple of Demoiselle cranes at a wildlife park)
Gray wolf (ik we got a lot of these already though)
Coyote (ik we got these recently though)
Black vulture (chicken line)
Doves
