I wanted to test my skills at big cats. I have a nice scene to go with it! YAY!

The tiger laughed and growled in a mocking tone, "That thing is your child? Are you a nut?! That pathetic thing is nothing but a morsel to us. A wee snack. You couldn't be any more stupid if you try! That piece of meat is not even a feline, or a predator for jungle sakes!"

She glared at the laughing tiger with a strong message that spoke clearly though inside she felt the sting humility of his mockery. She growled with a murderous tone, "Just get out of here, Scourge! Before I rip your throat out!"

The tiger stopped his laughter and glanced up at the panther and saw the seriousness on her face. He snorted in a snooty way and warned Serabi, "Whatever, just know that when you are least expecting it you and your little pest will feel the forest's wrath for breaking predator and prey relationship. Then you will know the meaning of no mercy."

With that he jumped into the shadows and disappear. The fawn blinked at the strange occurrence, or that's at least what he thought was weird. He looked at his 'mother' who continued to glared into the shadows where Scourge had disappeared. The fawn fumbled over his words not wanting to believe what he had heard, "M-Mother? W-what was he t-talking about?"

Serabi looked over to the orphan fawn that found himself in there jungle somehow that she held dearly to her heart. Tears watered in his eyes that made Serabi's heart crack; she smiled sweetly at the young deer that she has claimed as her son and spoke softly pulling the fawn close to her.

"Nothing my child. He is just an old jealous lonely scardy cat. It does not matter if you are my birth child or not."

The fawn looked up at her sniffling trying to hold back his tears, "D-did I get you in trouble Momma?"

She smiled big and licked the tears that had escape the young deer's grasp from his face, "No my son, you did nothing wrong. And neither did I. It just takes others a bit longer to accept that we are a different family. Now, quit your tears, it's time to go back home and rest up."

"Okay Momma."
