as the year ends, i think it'd be fun for me to post a little count of my hoards and progress to compare to next year! i wish i did this last year so i can see how many new hoards i gained, but better late than never! finally also happy with my dressups for my dusk and dawn hoard. i know there's only 8/9 dressed but idk what to do for the middle one :p theme was keeping it within the dog's color scheme! i had a lot of fun getting creative with past christmas items c: teariffic goals '24-'25 in case i wanna find this next year

current wip hoards: 2 - rainbow chickens + pumpkin patch [dress-up hoard]
current hoard goals: i have this one that i need to fix the spacing on by renaming pets so they all sit together evenly, and i need to figure out if i want to keep this water themed hoard of some of my fave water outcomes. i think i'm just not a fan of multiple species outcome hoards for me since i like my hoards to all be lined up evenly. i also think that i won't hoard my fave old cocoons/caterpillars - i'd need too many for my purposes and i'm too lazy to trade for all of those :p
fave hoards of the year: the botanical rats from this christmas/feb 2023 rank up there! the august '24 beach bw was also a favorite of mine <3 i've had a ton of fun dressing up the various hoards i've done that with as well!
total completed: 18ish (counting the ones i may disband!) 16 just regular ol' completed
goals for next year: swap the completed number counts for checkmarks, and also update my hoard topic. i love it but it's been neglected for a wee bit. also, i want to finish my pumpkin patch hoard and dress it all up by the end of next year - and hopefully start another 2-4ish hoards for a total of 20 completed.

does anyone else have any hoarder goals for next year / want to share their fave hoards of this year?

Decided to finally go gloves off and start REALLY trading for my active hoards, managed to get almost 200 of these guys in a day! They look real similar to a tea set I inherited from family, so they're special to me :] These two (x, x) also got some solid progress on the side but I've been locked IN with the bwolves today

200 pets in one day?! Amazing! The B-Wolves are very pretty, that's a really beautiful hoard!

I started to actively look for my 2018 birthday malk cat hoard again. Since the huge rarity update (vc to uc) it got a bit harder and just a few people seem to have it up for trade. X3
But I reached 80 today and I am hoping for 100 until New Year. I need something to do and I think it will be a fun challenge!

man, the past few weeks have been beating me up irl, but i feel like every turn i take, cs is just throwing love at me. i got a pretty gnarly dec 18 pull, ive gotten so much love from my cs friends, and gosh darn if we didn't get a gupps / grown-up newborn a few days ago of my sister's dedicated hoard, and now a set of reindeer rats :'3 anyone who knows me knows im obsessed w rats, obv, AND ANTLERS: peek my dressups

asdfghjkl im sobbing, actually, as soon as i saw the reindeer i knew what my c$ savings were going to LOL
i love them so much rraaahhhh<3 my rat hoard, if i were to merge my adults and babies, is also just over 300,000.
i feel so giddy, i love these mounds of pixels rakjshdflkhjsdfklsjhf <3

As of Christmas I have a few more ads to my species hoards of lions dragons and foxes and of course need to hoard them plushies for a special hoard haven’t started on the dressing up yet but I’m gonna be doing two special item and pet hoards haven’t decided the second pet group to use got the other item hoard yet so many choices and ideas also so close to 1000 cows only need 55 more

I just started super recently, but the first hoard I decided I needed to make upon starting is one of the lesbian mice from June 2023 (both variants)!! I collect them because this is one of the labels I use and they are all just too cute! I have eight so far and I’m excited to hoard more as I get more acquainted with this site! It’s been a lot of fun so far!! You can find my progress here!

My fawn hoard has been growing very well! especially because a new group on the lineart got introduced, which was super exciting for me!

I've thought about this for a long time, and I honestly don't know what my biggest achievement was this year. I feel like I didn't actually do much? I kind of just...survived. Didn't do all that much trading either. So I suppose that's my biggest achievement. If we must pick a hoard achievement, I think I finally finished this hoard at 2k horses this year so maybe that?

Other than that I gotta say that HSS helped some of my tougher hoards, so thank you SO MUCH to them and my Secret Santa as well <3 Tons of hoards finished or boosted due to them both!
