7/10, very solid design, just a cute and charming lil guy. also according to the bulbapedia page, there's a species of spider named after these guys! rathalos treecko (and for some reason i misremembered it as being spelled 'treeko')

7/10 A solid water type, and Politoed is one of my top five water types. I do wish it could learn a few more Fighting moves for when you want to evolve it into a Poliwrath
