i thought i'd start a thread for sharing original haikus!
i’ve found writing haikus in my head really useful for when i’m stuck on a thought, and i wanted to share some, and encourage others to write and share their own!
you can give an explanation around them, what they mean to you, why you wrote them etc; or just post your haiku and run!
heres some of mine
June baring its teeth
as May steadies, breathlessly
I follow the run
Some years behind me
I was put here in her place
I didn’t know her
It was really cold
slow growing dandelion
caught under the snow
id love to read other folks haikus, i think theyre a lot of fun and very cathartic to write!
