The two finally reached the outside of Slush’s small den, on the border of the outskirts hidden by rock and crude earth. Screw-Patched hummed, “Quaint.” He smiled, though Slushie looked away, a bit insecure about it.

The two slipped into the den, Slushie careful not to touch the other werm.

Screw-Patched wandered about inside, looking around with curiosity. It wasn’t much, but it did seem cozy..somewhat. The hard earth was a bit difficult to adjust to. But…that’s okay!

Screw spotted something, “What’s that?” He asked, pointing to a jacket that laid on a rock. Slushie shrugged, and went to grab it- stopping himself before ushering for the other to take it. “Really?” He asked, Slushie nodded enthusiastically. “Well…alright.” Screw-Patched grabbed the jacket, despite being semi-corporeal, he could at least interact with objects. Meanwhile, Slush removed his bandages and eye patch, to reveal a small scar over his eye. He could still see fine, but it’d just be a new mark on him.

After a while of talking, the two emerged from the den and began to continue their exploration in…The City Outskirts.
I haven’t touched this story in years I am so mythically sorry if it sucks lol
