Hoard Discussions Thread v.7!

I am deciding on how to organize my hoards.
I am hoarding based on theme for a variety of pets and eventually I will do one full page of each outcome, so swaps are gonna be crazy.
I have Badlands (Desert pets), lavender (lavender patterned pets), Lascaux (archaeology pets), etc.
My other hoards are 20 of each outcome without a theme. Are the themes necessary? Idk.

I haven't had the urge to horde in a long time but I just decided that I love this year's birthday BW litter to horde it now. I hope it's not too late xD

Has anyone else wanted to horde a pet and then thought "oh I'm too late to board that train now"?

lots of hoard updates for me!

firstly, i finished my single page hoard for this 6th bday pup and gupps just in time for the gupps' 10th birthday! i love these dogs sm it was a great hoard to trade for, i'll miss them!


my project cloverkit hoard FINALLY passed 50! idk why this extremely common is so few and far between in my trade hunts lol


and finally less than 15 away from 500 for this litter hoard! i ended up naming the hoard "beach house in malibu" after one of my favorite carly rae jepsen songs and ofc had to start working on a fitting dress up.


my hoards lately have just been common and below massive hoards and while they've been fun i'm getting a little bored of how easy it is to get the pets... so i think my next hoard i'm going to try for something a bit harder to find, wether its an uncommon+ litter or single outcome. after finishing my handful of older hoards this year of harder to find pets i've realized i do actually like the challenge! i also super want to do a pound catch hoard, still deciding what pet to do it with though. i've had some temptations with recent catches but nothing has stuck yet.

i don't post super often here but i always check new posts, congrats to everyone on their new hoards and progress!

there have been some AMAZING pets this event so far!! here are some hoards below that I’ve been working on! I usually don’t do huge hoards so these are all 20-40 pets each.



my favorite by far are the EEPS deer <3 so far I have 31/40! I’m hoarding the whole litter, not a specific outcome, though the white one might be my favorite one!



the polar bear from tonight won my heart!! 12/20 so far c:


seriously the most MAJESTIC butterfly wolf ever. I specifically love this outcome of the litter. I only have 4/20 so I have a lot of progress to make :,)

@storm coming, i LOVE the epps deer !! im keeping all of my pulls bc i just cant let them go, theyre some of my favorite deer lines by far !! <3 so i feel u on that one >:) and ur other event hoards are doing so well so far , lets goooooo <3

small update on my rats bc ik my bragging can get obnoxious but-


separated these celozon rats from may into their own group in memory of lola and izzy, surprised i had so many from the litter and also my heart is full c: i love them , considering giving them all uniform names but havent really decided yet -- might also just leave all the names randomized or blank. i gotta figure that out. LOL

also, non-rat related, started a few more hoards lately!

im super happy rn with how my hoards are looking c: i need to decide if i want the individual pets to be named or not, i kinda like how sleek they look w/o names

Today is the second anniversary of otters being released!! The 12 days of Christmas otters are still one of my favorite otter litters, I think they are so unique and I love how they are based on the 12 days of Christmas song. (It’s one of my favorite Christmas songs)
I reached my goal of getting 100 on the anniversary!!
(I wasn’t even on Chicken Smoothie yet when they were released though... idk why the date mattered to me.) This is all just progress to my goal of getting them all in the 12 days of Christmas order. All that ID swapping for the right times is going to be really hard though. Does anyone know if anyone has a hoard like that yet? (specifically this litter of otters in the 12 days of Christmas order?)

ahhh! I love the name so much.

Weirdly, I haven't hoarded ANY outcome so far this year from the advent stuff..... I wanted to hoard the trees but they are impossible to find XD
