I have grown up knowing the festive season as a summertime activity. Now I've swapped hemispheres and have been doing it the 'traditional' way a couple years, and lemme tell you, I am NOT a fan of the cold and the dark (though I'm sold on mulled wine).

An ideal holiday season is somewhere equatorial or temperate, a remote coast or an island somewhere tropical, where mangos are in season and I can walk in the sea and still feel my toes. Let's say a small island off the coast of Borneo. But Madagascar would be a close second. Somewhere with Creatures (land and sea).

Id love to celebrate at the Disney parks! I grew up going to them a lot in my teen years and I miss the Christmas celebrations so bad. it was always so cheerful and really put you in the holiday mood!

there's a small town not far away from where i live that i used to visit as a kid every now and then, and id love to go back again :) havent visited it in many years. if im lucky, i might spend 2-3 nights there!
