Hi all! Sorry to barge into this but there's been a few things I've gotten messages about I want to address public-ally.

1. Don't send your gifts out with potentially hurtful messages.
This time of year can be hard for some people and sometimes even getting called 'naughty' or 'put on the naughty list' can be very hurtful. You don't know what someone could be going through so PLEASE refrain from using terms like that or any other potentially harmful messages. It's about fun!
If you do feel uncomfortable in any way, message me and I'll try to solve things <3

2. Canceling gifts with harmful/ dismissive messages.
This is just down right rude and if I get more messages about this, users who cross this line will be banned from playing!
All gifts are meant well even if you aren't getting wishlist pets, it's the thought that counts and every gift no matter how small comes from a good heart. I won't stand for such awful behavior!

I'd like to remind you all of our rules! I may be more relaxed about things as the threads are pretty calm and thus won't nitpick everything but do please keep these in mind when posting on the thread! I've seen some double posting, please don't because we all want Holibombs to keep it's special permission to run every year right!? So here are our rules once more in case you've missed them on the literal front page! c:

Rules:

- You may only ask for a gift war every five pages.
-You may not post more than once on a page. Please wait until the next page to post again, to make it easier on the m​ods. You can always edit your last!
- Do not post things like, "thanks for all the gifts" on the thread without including links to trades AND usernames. You can thank people in the trade message, no need to spam with it.
-When speaking of gifts you have sent out, including reaching gifting goals, you must include at minimum 1 link to a gift you have sent. Usernames are not required for this.
- Be respectful to all players. No arguing!
- Do not complain about gifting or not being gifted. This means no posting on the thread saying you aren't getting gifts, or complaining in your signature. That's not what this game is about!
- Do not ask for gifts.
- Don't remake the threads when it reaches 900 pages. Holibombs belongs to Ezai and Segie, along with the rest of the holibomb staff.
- Do not argue with the staff.
- Please don't ask to be a staff member.
- You are free to help other members by answering questions on the thread and such, as long as it hasn't already been dealt with.

- Do not spam the topic. Spam includes:
- Announcing when you are getting on or offline.
- Posting things unrelated to holibombing/random chat
- Posts dedicated only to welcoming or congratulating users. Doing so is ok, but your post must contain other related content to your post, don't dedicate it entirely to saying "welcome!" or "congrats!"
- Asking for gifts.
- Posting things such as, "who should I gift next?" or "looking for my next victim!" This invites people to beg for gifts, and is not necessary to post.
- Double posting
- Bumping
- Posting more than once per page
- Accepting gift wars. Please do this via PM.

Sorry to have to be so stern for a moment but it really bugs me that some users have felt unsafe and gotten hurt by such behavior. I won't stand for it!

That's an amazing achievement, congrats!!
Really hoping I can gift a few more ppl from the list in the next few days as well!
I just lack time and energy rn ^^; ("can you stay longer?" is nearly a daily question were I work rn haha)

And I am really sorry that the statement above me had to be made. This game is mainly just for fun and to send other users a little something to brighten their day!
My holibomb messages are pretty simple (just "Happy Holidays" e.g.), however, if someone I gifted feels like my message was inappropriate, please let me know and I'll change it
