Pound lag getting worse?

It's every time now and when it's not I click the pet it takes 10 seconds to load but half way through it turns to already taken

exactly what happens to me. upon loading the pound, the top row is always gone. when I click on one, it loads for 10 seconds only to tell me it's been adopted. go back to the page and everything is gone. so fun!

Today, it took 15 seconds to load. I clicked on a pet as soon as the pound finally opened, only for it to take another 6 seconds solid to tell me that it was taken. Then, upon reloading page, no images loaded, so I clicked blindly on a pet that was on my wishlist.

Instead of giving me that pet though, the pets shuffled around as their images loaded, and when the site registered my click, it gave me this??? Which is definitely NOT on my wishlist.



So basically the pound sucked for me this morning thanks to its lag, urgh qwq
And if anyone wants this pony, it's free. Just send a trade.

i've gotten clicks almost immediately on the last few opens, and then it takes 5-6 seconds to tell me that the pet was already taken so i end up not getting what i really want 😔 alas

I'm a mix of this and the first page not loading pics at all. It's now a real gamble whether I should go for the "December ___" pet that I cannot see

genuinely getting so upset about this lag. it took over 20 seconds for my page to load, and it even lagged the second page. the lag has been really bad since halloween... if any staff are reading this please consider upgrading the server this site is ran off of :^) I've never encountered anything like this on all the other websites ive used in my over fifteen years of internet usage. This site has got to make a decent amount off of C$. I'm certain it can afford the upgrade.

Another pound of 30 seconds+ loads. I know it's not client side either. I have the best internet in my area possible. I really hope some staff address this sometime soon. It's disappointing so many people are having such bad lag and we haven't gotten word about the staffs solution to fix this. Assuming there is talk of a fix... I know I am not the only one frustrated about the sites lag. And like Blingbling mentioned, I dread Dec 18th. The site is absolutely going to crash with the current state of lag.

this seems to be the only time they've come close to somewhat acknowledging the problem, and they didn't even here, just telling us we're fearmongering for being concerned about scripts ruining our game experience:

I've also been having lots of lag during the openings, and I try to wait a second or two to load the pound after it opens, but the page still takes anywhere from 10-30 seconds to load me in 😔
