Any questions?: how do i get more deer!!!

Hi doeeyes! Deer aren't available to adopt every month, sadly, but you'll occasionally find them in the new adopt batches (at the beginning of each month) in the "Other Species" adopt tab. This month we got foxes, but in the meantime you can try to trade some of your pets for other users' deer! I suggest you add a few more to your wish list so other users know you're looking for them c; An easy way to browse deer pets is to filter the Archive by species - deer c:

Any questions?: I have questions regarding the trading system and wasn't sure if there were any guides to that part of the site. I think that's the only thing I really need help with, besides a few art questions:

1. Am I allowed to sell My Little Pony adopts/characters for CS things?

2. The art rules are very confusing and aren't in one place. Is there any chance that they are all in one place and give more details to what the rules are?

There are a few trading guides floating around CS! For beginners, this post in the Guide to CS Rarities is a great place to start, I think! And when in doubt, you can ask other users for advice in the Fair Trade Thread.
As for your art questions:
1. As long as they're original designs and "off brand," I believe c: I have definitely seen users make and sell MLP-like characters for CS things before!
2. Have you had a look at the Art Rules in the Rules to the Site and Forum thread? That and the following post, the Oekaki and Adoptable Rules, should summarize the most important bits. If you have specific questions therein, feel free to reach out to me via PM! I'm happy to help out while you wait to have an adopter assigned c:

In my experience, besides trading, the most active boards these days are the Forum Games and the Oekaki! There are other active small communities for writers and such, though, so it really depends on where your interests lie c:

5. you can adopt re-released pets on dec 18 from a gift box (i couldn’t tell you more on it since i’ve never experienced a dec 18th)
6. you can state that you are an adult. you cannot state your age if you are a minor
7. occasionally cs staff will open artist applications. if they open, you can submit an application!
8. there are some free sets in the store, & you can trade for them!

Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: Yes, but not so recent I could find the post
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I have been on the site for just over 10 years now. I have had several long periods of low activity, but have been very active for the last ~1.5 years. I have had a lot of help readjusting each time I returned, and now that I've been consistently part of the community for a long time, I think I am well suited to help new members as they get accustomed to the site. This is especially on my mind a lot as December is just around the corner. I was still very new when my first Dec 18th happened, and I lost a July PPS due to not being connected to the community and falling victim to what I thought was a good trade. I would love to help prevent this from happening to more newbies, as well just help them connect to the community in general (it can be one of the best aspects of the site)
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I get on every day, checking FR forums and looking for trades at least 3-4 times over the period of the day. I'd estimate I spend ~1 hour on the site everyday, maybe a bit less on week days but more on weekends.
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yes, I did.
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Yes, I do.

What do you like best so far?: I'm not really sure as it's only my first day here. I guess I would say collecting pets and items, though the closed-species community and art community has piqued my interest as well.
