I'm not sure why but lately I've had the urge to cut more and more of my hoards down to just 20 each? I used to like to do an even 100 of anything below Extremely Uncommon in rarity but idk...I think trading just feels like such a slog lately that it's just no fun anymore? Anyone else having trouble finding motivation to trade overall?

20 pets is easier to manage and they fit on a page. It's what I've been doing for a while. I have one currently enldless pet hoard an a few endless item hoards. For items I usually pick up 20, unless it's a ghost or Halloween item, then its usually 13. larger hoards just overwhelm me anymore and I'm finding more and more pets I want to hoard. So I just end up spreading them out. I even have two groups o tens

Some of these are overflow, others are hoards I tore apart, and some others are ones I just got 10 of.

I've split my malk and spider wing BW and I just paired the malks with their corresponding plush, but now I need an item for the other half:

YES!! I been having issues with even sending a trade at this point but it also doesn’t help that I wanna hoard just about everything n so end up with little to no trade fodder lol but still I can go through click all the pets for both sides n then just be like ehh they will probably cancel n then just back out

I like your hoard names!
All my hoards start with lil in their title, haha. It started with my first hoard, the Lil Imps, because it just seemed like a good title for them, but I've carried it through to the other hoards I started. That way their folders can be sorted next to each other easily! Since I usually only collect about 1 page worth or a small amount of multiple outcomes for my hoards, I think it's fitting anyway!

I think I’m too spontaneous for my own good.

I was NOT prepared to be faced with (as of writing this) 13 (edit, I miscounted) 15 different Hoards. And those are just the ones I’ve set up…anyways, I’ve got some small updates.

Update on the Monthly Foxes. This group grew in size quickly (now at 31 Pets), and I’m really happy with how the Adults are turning out so far. FR really does come in handy, huh? (Had to remove a couple of them to put them in my main Foxes collection, but that’s alright since there were only 5 different Outcomes.)



Update on the Cerberuses. Considering lack of planning for any potential Hoard Pets in the Event, I did pretty well at getting these last moment. The group’s almost at 30 of them, and some people have been more than happy to offer me theirs.



Update on the Blood Dogs…these have been kind of hard to trade for? I have a guess as to why and it’s understandable.


Overall, Hoards have been doing well. (Edit, have made the Halloween Malk Foxes group.)

If you give your hoards special names, do you have a method for naming them?

A few are based on song lyrics/titles:
soldier on, Achilles
all for love (tech noir)

others are just what the pet looks like/reminds me of:
taro butterfly tea
buttercream

another defined category is ~vibes~ like:
empty malls
noise

anything else is just random, like I have a few named after characters or things from media, random phrases or words, really just anything that vibes with the pet(s). I don't really have a method to what hoards get called things from which category, they just come to me or I sit on the hoard for a while without a name until I find what fits.

most of mine are 20 pet hoards and I keep majority of them in one big group (a few are not included either because they are special and/or they have rereleases in them). it's so satisfying going through them where each page is one hoard! it also allows me to make more hoards and not cherrypick outcomes too much. 😅
only downside to that is that whenever you add to the group, past links in forums and such to a specific page shift.
I also noticed I only do hoards for 20 pets, 1000 pets, or entirely unlimited lol.

rest are boring and they are just named for what their design shows or just their species, I would love to switch a bunch out for more creative names some day though! I much prefer creative names but I am not too good at coming up with ideas.

YES!! This is exactly how I feel! I go through, add all the pets I want on either side...then just...lose steam and close out of the tab? It's so irritating but I can't stop doing it. If I do send out a trade it's usually just for c$ because that's so simple; pay a certain amount and I get my hoards.

Yeah, I do like how simple it is with just 20 to a page. Any Extremely Uncommon+ rarity hoards of mine are just 20 pets each and it's so much easier to deal with/find enough overall. And I do REALLY like the idea of more fodder/less to hunt for overall...I just take a while to commit to a purge I suppose TTxTT

most of mine are 20 pet hoards and I keep majority of them in one big group (a few are not included either because they are special and/or they have rereleases in them). it's so satisfying going through them where each page is one hoard! it also allows me to make more hoards and not cherrypick outcomes too much. 😅

I couldn't IMAGINE having them all in one group! It honestly looks so nice though, I've seen people do this and it's always so neat to go through each page for each hoard. I totally get it! I just hoard b/c something reminds me of a specific character/song/movie/book/etc. so they all have to have names lol
