Hi, I'm unsure if I should collect all the pets on the deer lines such as the camels and goats or just specifically collect the deer? I wanna go for a full deer collection but... There are quite a few pets that are on the deer lines but not deers at all. How should I go about this?

Editing: I have also decided to collect every pony pet for a My Little Pony collection. Though, should I include all line edits or just regular looking Pony's?

This is a bit of a later response I know, but as a fellow deer collector with a (currently) full collection, I personally collected different species edited onto the deer lines as despite their designs, they’re still deer pets as counted in the archive ;v; I wish you the very best of luck in your collecting endeavours!

Hello everyone, I was waiting to post on this thread until January 2025 since I had just joined in November 21st. But I decided to go ahead and share my progress! First, I'll answer the question on the first post.

What are your goals on CS?

My goals currently are:

- get every 2024 pet
- get every 2024 item (if possible)

Though, my ultimate goal is to collect every pet and item on Chicken Smoothie.

How close are you to completion?

I'm no where near close to completing my current 2024 goal nor the entire collection goal. (New player is why.)

How long have you worked on this goal?

I've been working on this goal since the first day of joining. I have received many wonderful gifts and warm welcomings from this amazing community! I have been participating in the monthly adopts, user adoptions, Chicken Smoothie pound and Chicken Smoothie Lost and Found.

I'm still reading all guides; newbie and trading guides.

I did achieve a minor dream pet from an amazing user who gifted them to me!

i’ve been slowly making progress on our halloween pet collection and we’re down to 14 <3 some of the halloween pets are so hard to get but we’re creeping closer! i think unless i’m awful at counting (possible) that we’re also officially under 400 pets needed for a full collection, and right at 350 not including special releases! completion is not really a goal we have any illusions of reaching but it’s satisfying to hit those milestones anyway

I’m aiming to collect one each of every butterfly wolf!
How close are you to completion?
I’m a long way off from completing the whole collection, but I’m getting close to completing 2023 (61/84) and 2024 (65/??)
How long have you worked on this goal?
It’s a fairly recent goal (this week lol), I’ve just started playing again after being inactive and I was going through the archives like ‘man all the bwolf designs are so pretty, I want them all’ and I decided to make it a goal! It’s pretty fun working on it bit by bit and slowly ticking the ones I need off the wishlist.

For any other butterfly wolf collectors; do you consider the UR bee/peach to be part of your goal for collecting them? I'm thinking I will as they’re listed under butterfly wolf in the archives, and since there’s so many pets that are based on the lineart of one species but heavily edited to the point they look like a different species it’s hard to draw a line unless going by archive categorisation.

Oh is that where the little message shows up when you collect every pet/one of a certain species? I've seen a couple of them in people's signatures but wasn't sure where they were from; I was thinking it was an automatic PM.
I'm aiming to collect the store pets as part of my goal! I just know it would drive me nuts having all the b-wolves except the stores lol. Also, owning these adorable little guys is a need, not a want:

collection update!!

discovered i was missing two monthlies from dec '21, but once i grab them, my monthlies from 19-23 will be complete! then i can start working on earlier years. i'm focusing on '24 rn and making up for the months i missed. free trades have been my biggest savior, as always, for those commons i'm missing but some of them are tricky to hunt down! here's hoping i can finish this year's monthlies before new year rolls around

No; The Lineart is so heavily edited that I think it shouldn't count anyways
Yes; The Archive says it is, but doesn't count the Store Pets =__=;; so I feel like I have to count it.

I'm still back down to two (UR Peach and Bee) to have a complete collection according to the archive. According to Me, I'm just missing the Peach at this time, provided we don't get another UR B-Wolf this Christmas

*high five* I'm another butterfly Wolf collector here. I don't consider the bee and peach to be part of the collection, I DO have the UR BW though. I'm on the fence about store BWs...they are clearly BWs but ..... lol

For my collection I'm still missing a SINGLE 2023 BW VERY COMMON that I can't seem to locate and then like 2 holiday ones. For 2024 I'm missing like a double handful since I didn't trade for the entire year.

I'm most infuriated that I've been after a SINGLE BAT for my complete collection since last year. It's not that I don't have anything to trade for it, more than I can't LOCATE one to even trade for. It's a 2022 Halloween event rare that RNG didn't give me and I've been looking for 2 years now. Rawr.
