noticing an issue where the script is telling me that my red rose dog is worth 30 old rares (which is correct) but the C$ value for that is only coming up as 500-600. on the other side of trades, it's showing 30 old rares as being worth closer to 900-1000 c$. some weird contradictory math going on there, so just wanted to share!

This really shouldn't be the case, though? If something is worth 3 MA (30 old rares), the prices should reflect that. If my dog is worth 30 old rares, and the 30 old rares being offered are worth 1000 c$, then that should be represented in the value range for my dog. Otherwise it's just not accurate, y'know? The script is claiming that 30 old rares are worth 500-600 c$ and 900-1000 c$ simultaneously, which can't be true. There needs to be consistency across the system or it doesn't work. Just my two cents!

Of course! This is exactly the problem I have with this script. As much as it might help with calculating some trades, it will cause distortion of values.

this comes down to that c$ value doesnt scale with individual pet worth, 1 non pet (100 old rares) is worth 2000 c$, but if it was 10 ma pets that would be 2500-3500 c$ (since 1 ma pet is priced at 250-350c$)
these are the prices that horrors list follows, its also why many people prefer buying high list pets and then trading them down to lower ones that they can sell, since more people have a few hundred c$ in their wallet vs a few thousand

wow i just downloaded this and it is SO useful! i ALWAYS get tripped up by newer store pet values or anything between 2016-2019 because I didn't play at all those years. thank you for this!!

i am crying tho lol because I just finally got myself a skelebun! which I thought was 11 or 12non. but when i went to see what the script said it said 9???? ;-; not sure if I'm crazy and i totally messed up or if it's just an error haha! just noting that!

edit: just checked the successful thread and I'm seeing trades for 13-14non and a straight swap with an orange cerb lol. i don't even know anymore this game is so confusing haha. i traded for about 11.25-11.5

oh it definitely gets that!! its just that its 8-10+ with very little recent trade data, so i rounded it to 9 since it doesnt have nearly enough solid trade evidence like orange cerb has
theres been a few more trades in the past few months so ill probably take another look to see if its rounded at a certain number yet!
