I’ll admit I’m a tiny bit disappointed it’s just a plain PPS of the juvenile, was hoping to see at least a few little fun elemental detail differences or edits but after such a big litter I also can’t be that upset

as an aries/fire element, i guess it's fitting that i'm super frustrated and getting angry that the ONLY outcome i don't have for the horses is the PPS fire horse XD i'm going through it over here. i was able to naturally get the baby water and earth elements, and an extra earth one which someone traded the air element for. and what does that leave? the fire baby. of course. the fumes coming out of me are tangible LMAO

I’m quite content that I managed to get most of the zodiac horses from my adopts. I was only missing 2/16; not bad odds. They were super pretty and I felt like they were a perfect transition from the excitement of Halloween. Something to still log in and look forward to but a lot more relaxed.

I haven’t forgotten about the other monthlies though. The gen 2 rats are surprisingly looking great for such an odd pairing haha. The banana chams are cool too though not quite my tastes. I did learn about some cool bananas from them though!

On the subject of item rerelease -

I think there’s a miscommunication or misread as it seems some people are under the impression that the items are going to be rereleased for everyone potentially for free, from my understanding that’s not the case.

The items (or item, as someone else brought up - there is no direct confirmation that the winning prize is an entire set, so it may only be a handful of items or an entire set), can only be won through the competition which means there will only be additional sets added to the economy/trading market for as many winners there are for that respective competition (realistically probably only 2 or 3, and I doubt all three placements would win full sets if they did rerelease full sets at all, realistically 1st place may be a full or half a set with 2nd and 3rd following up respectfully with fewer items), in all honesty this wouldn’t ultimately affect the value nor trade ability of these items as it isn’t being reintroduced for repurchase (potentially plummeting current values), nor is it being released to everybody for free.

Another way to think about it is that all this really is is 1-3 people (or however many winners), obtaining the set through an official CS channel no different then if they were to trade another user for the set (or even someone acquiring the items little by little through the lost & found over time). Additionally, there is no confirmation it will be all item sets (they only said “discontinued”) - it could be things as recent as from earlier this year to older items, we have no idea. Realistically speaking, in terms of older items it would open up another avenue for all players to potentially gain a chance from getting them (no different then the lost & found) especially since back in earlier years especially 2008-2009, a large portion of the user base who do have those items are no longer active so this would give a fair alternative that wouldn’t depreciate any value.

I think it’s a good idea, and potentially could open up discussions about ways to incorporate a fair alternative that doesn’t depreciate store pets in the future.

I'm actually not at all against rereleasing either discontinued store items or pets, quite the contrary. I'm only against the double standard.

And yeah I guess it's not technically rereleasing discontinued store items but it is still going to put new sets into circulation which is essentially rereleasing them even if it is in microscopic doses. And that's just hypocrisy compared to the stance on store pets.

But I absolutely do hope this is the "slippery slope" that opens up the possibility of properly rereleasing both discontinued store items and store pets!


But anyway, looks like we're getting PPS versions of all the four foals, mmh ^.^

Don’t! I’m always pleasantly surprised when you make your gen 2s. You can take two designs that look like they would never go together and turn them into something awesome. It’s a talent. Please keep making wacky pairings with wonderful litters 💕

Yes, I was a bit disappointed, too.
Especially because I dreamed that they turned into the first stage but edited to have a rose-flowerhead around them and are coloured from pink to red (for the red outcome).
I was looking forward for the other outcomes to see how they would look as roses :P

Does anyone know what the last two bananas are? The larger one looks like a red plantain, and the smaller like the red "lady fingers" types they sell locally, but I don't know the name of either.
