Pound lag getting worse?

I have given up on the pound many times before because it’s lagging so bad that I am certain I won’t find anything I need or want in there by the time it loads ^^*

two days ago the whole site wouldn't load because pound was open. yesterday the site literally froze when i tried to reload the pound and i had to reopen the browser. today it full on didn't register when i clicked on two different pets. with the money folks are spending in the store, i seriously hope there's some discussion on moving servers

its not even just the pound itself, its the site atp. ive noticed from when i joined to present day, the site keeps getting choppier by the day. i know cs is old, but at least /try/ to show you care about the performance?

I agree with this, it kind of feels like this is an unavoidable issue at this point and I'm not sure if much is being done. If anything is, it's most definitely not visible.

has ANYONE from CS staff acknowledged this issue? like...at all? even a "we hear your concerns and are discussing solutions" would be better than this radio silence. anyway, yeah, pound lag has been affecting me for months as well and it has recently gotten very noticeably worse. maybe the lag is just a silly fun new difficulty feature. /s

Agreed. CS genuinely needs to address it. Communication and general upkeep is the bare minimum when it comes to online games, and it's concerning ;-;

does the pound do this to anyone else? when it loads a page of pets, the pets appear at the bottom of the screen first and by the time i scroll down or they snap into their correct place at the top of the screen, all the older/rarer pets are already adopted. this didn’t used to happen, but since the last pound update it happens every time. i don’t always have the option to adopt on a computer so this is really discouraging to me. i’ve missed some really great pets </3

this is still happening, it was so bad today i couldn’t choose a pet until there were only 300 left :/

the lag is just getting exceptionally painful now. i loaded in to a page full of rares and everything was already taken by the time the page loaded. :/ it took a solid 15 seconds just to have the page. load. my laptop has no issues running anything else, just... cs. running on my macbook and wifi that can handle literally everything else. kinda disappointing.

sadly the pound lag problem is something only Nick can fix. im sure staff have already forwarded this suggestion to him but Nick does not respond to most of the suggestions sent it seems.

edit to add: from what i can tell most of the staff also wish these problems can be fixed plus more general updates but they do not have the power to do so nor can they speak for Nick on this matter. this is a problem ONLY Nick & Tess can speak on - so the lack of communication is really just up to Tess and Nick sadly.
