I think the second one is the mimic!

Differences: The eyes are different, one has an extra tree, there's a buckle on one of the collars, an extra butterfly and sparkle, and someone is watching them I think the first one is the mimic because in the second picture, that person watching them is the mimic trying to copy them!!

I believe the first image to be the mimic (the one I have marked in green). I found 6 differences.

- A's eyes are not filled in while B's are
- there's a tree in the back of B that is missing in A
- B also has a shadow of a figure in the back that is absent from A
- there is a buckle? loop? on the collar of B not shown in A
- A has butterflies on the right side while B does not
- A has slight swirls on the trees that are not visible in B

edited to add which guess is the mimic: i believe its B, aka the bottom one

Image 1 lacks the tree, holds a butterfly, but doesnt have a shape to the collar, and has many swirls on the tree that are missed in the second.
Image 2 has an extra tree, unknown figure, and lacks a lot of swirls that were on the trees. Added an extra part to the collar, misses the butterflys, and filled the eyes pupil.
