i don't generally enjoy the anime-esque styles all that much but your art has me shook. the colors, the composition, the use of light, everything just makes it such a memorable piece!

i love the detail that you managed to capture here, especially in the water - i can tell you spent a long time making sure everything was just right, and it totally paid off! everything from the waves, to the bird, to the cannon, to the outfit the character is wearing has so much care and attention to detail, and i think the concept of pirates is so cool!
