December 18th is right around the corner, and who knows, you might get super lucky!
Plus throughout the year, there’s plenty of events and nine times outta ten, the token exchanged pets turn rare, so that can be a quick and easy way to build fodder!
People are quitting, hosting giveaways and offering pound services all the time! Just grow your fodder collection and you’ll be back in the groove before you know it.

Hello! Dunno if this is the right place to ask. I'm fairly new and this Halloween event is the second event since I started playing. I joined during the Wild West event and I managed to get some tokens but I had none spare before the end, so I had to trade for all the pets I was missing. This time I got all the pets and still have tokens left, so I wanted to ask how should I spend the last tokens I have? I need pets to trade for pets on my wishlist, but I have no idea which ones are gonna be rare, what's the smartest thing to do?

Hello! Dunno if this is the right place to ask. I'm fairly new and this Halloween event is the second event since I started playing. I joined during the Wild West event and I managed to get some tokens but I had none spare before the end, so I had to trade for all the pets I was missing. This time I got all the pets and still have tokens left, so I wanted to ask how should I spend the last tokens I have? I need pets to trade for pets on my wishlist, but I have no idea which ones are gonna be rare, what's the smartest thing to do?

In terms of building your collection to be able to have good options for later, a good thing to do is look at the trade thread for the event, and see which outcomes people are still looking for! I find that in general any rats, horses, or "odd" looking pets will be rare since people buy less of them, but also harder to trade. I personally like to grab at least 3-4 of the most traded outcomes and any "popular" species that are usually event-only (bunnies and lions), since I'm likely to be able to have one of each outcome for later trading that way.

So, I haven't given away pets in that quantity/quality before, but I've been on and off CS since 2011. I think for me it boils down to what part of collecting is important. For me, I really like sitting down on CS for a little bit each week and trading, organizing, sorting, etc my pets. It's a nice, low-stress thing to spend my time on instead of doom scrolling on my phone lol. So for me trying to get the older pets is a challenge, and something that I plan on working up towards because it's more about the journey than the end result if that makes sense?

Thanks to you both for your replies! They really helped a lot and I am much more relaxed about this whole situation now. I honestly had so much fun collecting the Halloween pets, it’s always been my favourite event, and I got really invested this year. It felt good and fun and everything until I wanted to know what I gifted away. Heh. Was a dumb move on my side, on so many levels xD I’ll just keep going as I did the weeks before, have fun collecting and see where it will take me over time. My ultimate goal back in the day was a complete collection, but baby steps are okay for now as well and who knows, maybe one day…

Started playing and trading again after missing a few months and have caught my deer collection back up until October! I'm only missing the two most recent sets of store deer pets and I'm going to have to work on those. A bit upset at myself for not paying the 10 dollars when they originally came out because I can afford it now LOL. No longer a kid like I was when I first started playing 10 years ago :')

I'm expecting more deer during the advent calendar, so I'm gonna have to remember to keep logging in during December

Once again, I have changed my collection of pets I want to collect. I cannot choose, send help!

I have decided to collect every deer on CS and I have over 100 deers right now. Though... I'm struggling with finding these babies who are my absolute favorite:

I know part of my reason for not being able to trade for my absolute favorite deers is due to not having very much uncommons and higher. I'm hoping that I can get more uncommons+ to get these guys as they're my current dream deers.

I am also down to 7 pages of wishlist deers! I am now over 300 deers! It's getting a lot harder to get wishlist deers as it's most likely rares and higher and uncommons and higher. I think I'll make a gacha adopt to help achieve my goal for the remainder of the pets, but not 100% sure yet!

Finally making some headway! I got these four chicken store pets that I missed and now all I need is the pps one to complete the set.
It’s been a real pain trying to locate these cuz it seems like nobody has them ;-; and it’s driving me absolutely crazy looking for the pps chick.


This little chick is the absolute last chicken I need to have every chicken on the site and I can’t find it anywhere :,) The bane of my existence.

Just got the last 3 lions I needed and I could cry happy tears, seriously. My lion collection is once again 100% complete.

I feel like the halloween event helped me make a few steps towards a full collection, just with more people actively trading.

I finally got the last sitting cat I was missing aside from the UR Tess cat, and I got a UR Cinnabun to finish out my 2016 collection.

I'm really hung up on trying to get a 2012 UR Aussie, I had one the year it was released and it has always been one of my favourite URs but I traded it away at some point and haven't been able to get another one since. I did manage to make some swaps and trades to have a UR Bengal so hoping that might help me get my hands on a UR aussie.

That aside, I'm down to 33 pets away from a full collection, mostly 2008 and 2009 ER/OMGSRs but I've nearly completely run out of fodder so I guess I'll be at a stalemate for a while unless I get something good on December 18th lol

Am I the only one who never realized Helper Litters were a thing???? My goodness! Been a member (albeit on and off) for a decade now and never realized, even when I was super active around 2016-18!

Only happened to notice when initiating a trade w/ someone who had both Staff Litter and Helper Litter groups - come to find out, I don't own a single pet from any of the Helper Litters! Immediately added them ALL to WL and updated my calendar so I could grab them next June!

I am at a bit of a roadblock. I have been acquiring fodder the last little while as I know I have quite the time
ahead of me as I reach the end of my wishlist. I have 8 pets left total.. and they are all super hard to find and
some of them are the most sought out pets on this site. Sometimes I have to pinch myself when i get frustrated
because it is insane how far I have come! But, although I might have some good fodder... these pets seem just
impossible to find or even harder to trade for. But alas, the journey continues! I now have a complete
regular release collection (pending the new urs lol). And I couldn't be more proud. The only pets left are storepets
until I have both regular releases and store collections c: Super exciting. Here are is one of my newest finds <3
