Azara climbed over the pile of rubble he was just at, exploring this place more and more; pausing at various places of interest. A cluster of crystals here, some rotting food there, some papers here, even... a cluster of mushrooms? Strangely placed but very still, his brow furrowed as he examined them, trying to determine if they were poisonous or if they were good enough to eat. The darkly coloured werm reached out to grab one of the mushrooms, giving it a tug.
It was then that the cluster seemed to visibly spore, which didn't stop Azara from giving it another tug; what did, however, was the piercing pain that shot straight through their head like an arrow hitting its bullseye. He recoiled, holding his head, grumbling: "Ow, ow, ow, why, why do the deities hate me,"
"Maybe because you're trying to eat me? Consider that."

With that out of the way, my research is in the garden,

after the catastrophe, the experimentation
just lead to, well, this.
So it is crucial that we head to The Garden.
