I had recently joined chicken smoothie and have been collecting the felines of this site. I have over 300 felines. But I'm unsure if I want to continue collecting them as I'm thinking about just collecting Halloween pets. But I'm unsure if Halloween pets are difficult to get or not. Should I continue with what I originally wanted to collect or change my collection to Halloween pets? The reason for this decision is solely due to me changing my character preferences to monsters and dragons and therefore I wanna keep my pets in those species. But are Dragons hard to get as well? Thank you for the tips.

In my opinion, Halloween Pets are only harder to get if they’re a well liked design with a higher rarity. This applies to a good chunk of Event Pets from every kind of Event, though. Eventually you should get all of what you’re looking for, albeit some having major hurdles.

Now, onto species:
Cats have good demand, but Dragons have great demand. Dragons are harder to get than Cats, Dogs, or even Lions due to that fact, and you often have to be offering good Demand Pets to be able to get Dragons that are higher Rarity/Demand.

You probably won’t have to worry about this with Dragons that are OMGSC—UC, but by the time you reach even VUC in terms of Rarity, it becomes more apparent how much people expect you to offer at times.

To me, it doesn’t matter how Rare/Demanded a Pet or Species is, it won’t obscure me from my goal…but that might be a problem for you. So just giving you a heads up.

Thank you so very much! I honestly do not mind the challenge as I'm an intellectual person and need daily challenges for me not to get bored with anything. I tend to get bored easily if there are no challenges. So, I do think I'll be changing my collection to Halloween and Dragons as I wish to continue playing chicken smoothie but im currently getting lots of pets easily, the only thing keeping me busy with this site is the banner hunt.

Why do yall collect the pets you do?

For me I have random lil collections I'm doing, such as a space theme one, a drink theme one, my gacha dogs, and now the zodiac dogs, I collect them cause I think they look cool and I also just struggle getting the list pets I want so I just collect these lower rarity ones instead ☺️

I’m collecting all Foxes because…well…I love Foxes. I’m obsessed with them, in fact. They’re just about my favourite animal and nothing could stop me from doing it. Same goes for Malk Foxes, I adore Malk Foxes because of how realistic they are.

I only really have three smaller Collections that aren’t Hoards that have specific, driven motivations:



The Akaicore group, based off of one of my favourite, if not my supreme favourite character of all time.



The Roxcore group, which is the same as the Akaicore group, it’s based off a character I really love.
(If anyone knows of a Pets with purple colourations, please let me know, I’m sorely missing Pets in this group lol)



And the My Friends group, which is for, pretty obviously, putting in Pets that I think resemble my friends. It’s a way for me to appreciate them. Not all of them play CS, but they do keep a track of the group and see what I add every now and again.

I am down to less than three pages of my wishlist to be able to finish my mini collections and im soo excited.
Every year I always put off the monthly releases and the events and im always scrambling around to collect the few pets that I need. Even with recent year uncommon-common pets seem to be harder to come by nowadays and even when they are available nobody seems to want to edit trades anymore and they just decline and move on. It’s very stressful and frustrating lol.

I’m hoping I can finish my mini collections before the end of the year! Just need to find a few simple rares and uncommons and I’m hoping for the best!

In other news, these new Halloween pets are absolutely gorgeous and im so glad I’ve been able to add them to my collection without too much of a fuss!

I'm so excited. :') I'm making such good progress on my BW collection. I managed to score the Peach and didn't even realize it was the last one I needed for 2015!!

So years completed so far is 2015, 2022, 2023, and I'm current for this years outcomes as well 🙌🏼 just so happy.

Once again, I have changed my collection of pets I want to collect. I cannot choose, send help!

I have decided to collect every deer on CS and I have over 100 deers right now. Though... I'm struggling with finding these babies who are my absolute favorite:

I know part of my reason for not being able to trade for my absolute favorite deers is due to not having very much uncommons and higher. I'm hoping that I can get more uncommons+ to get these guys as they're my current dream deers.

I'm going through and getting my trade thread set up with my collection status, and I didn't realize how close I was on a few of the years! My closest full year is 2016, with 20 total pets missing and only TWO non-UR and store pets left!! I'm so excited <3 Does anyone here have a specific method they use when trying to complete full collections? I feel like sometimes there's odd pets that are hard to find/trade for, despite not having high rarities or value.

Oh guys. Speaking of collections. I hope I‘m at the right thread for this little vent of mine.
I started collecting back in 2010 and I was having loooots of good pets. A few years ago I thought about quitting and gifted almost all valuable pets to friends.
Now I started collecting again recently but after looking through old trades and ultimately realising how much I already gifted away I started doubting I‘ll ever get those pets back. Not unless I spend money, probably. This is so disencouraging right now and I am not sure how to get the bad feeling away. It‘s not even about the old rares and omg so rares for me but more about the tons of storepets I will probably never get my hands on again. I could draw for them but time is money, especially now as an adult working two jobs. Debating wether it’s worth all those time and money and nerves again or if I should really just quit as I planned years ago.
Any of you been in this situation and if, then how did you deal with it?

So, I haven't given away pets in that quantity/quality before, but I've been on and off CS since 2011. I think for me it boils down to what part of collecting is important. For me, I really like sitting down on CS for a little bit each week and trading, organizing, sorting, etc my pets. It's a nice, low-stress thing to spend my time on instead of doom scrolling on my phone lol. So for me trying to get the older pets is a challenge, and something that I plan on working up towards because it's more about the journey than the end result if that makes sense?
