Destiny wagged her tail gently in hearing the idea of a memorial come to life, a nod solidified the choice " Switching seasons would work. That way if we are struggling one season we don't need to make it more of a down time. We will remember when the pack is flourishing" she added. Glancing away for a moment in thought, Destiny returned to the conversation "I believe once things calm more, I would need to meet the new Redmoon Alpha and perhaps the two packs could come together for a day of peace and remembrance. I know they must feel a similar pain as we do" she added softly. Including their rival pack would be risky, however, it would be a larger way to honor those who had passed in both packs.

Her ears flicked hearing Cypher. call to the hunters, he was next on the list of wolves she needed to speak with "I do need to speak with Cypher soon if that is alright with you - we could continue planning later today." she spoke gently not wanting and trying to not offend the wolf by cutting conversation. "I need to pick his brain on a few things before I forget" she added. Dipping her head to Kuroyki, she stepped back and turned in the direction of Cypher.


"Cypher when you have a moment are we able to speak?" she asked as she approached the ebony wolf. A ting of sadness washed over her as he directly resembles his passed brother. Pushing passed it , Destiny wagged her tail in greeting.

Blaze offered a tail wag at Nova's response at him becoming beta if he had not been lead fighter. "While that would of been an honor. i know there is another much more level headed than I that would serve the position better" He nodded before chuckling a little "besides, that's a lotttt of extra pressure" he teased.

Listening to Nova go over his recent changes, Blaze sighed. It was a lot of change in a short amount of time, some of which he was still processing. There were a few things he would need to discuss with Nova and process. Once Blaze trusted a wolf he was a very talk through things type. He nodded at her mention of Gauge and the patrols for the day. "Yes, I am going to send out a patrol by the Starlight wolves" he confirmed "Yes, chatting later would be Ideal" he agreed with a dip of his head.

Blaze took a few strides away from Nova before tilting his head back and calling out to the fighters in the pack, he would gather them and send patrols based on who was present

The black phase she wolf blinked green eyes with their gold ringing. She glanced around for a moment, and twitched her ears. Flicking her tail gently back and forth a couple times. Before glancing towards where Blaze and Gauge were standing at. She watched the two of them, then shook her head again. Glancing to where Azure was, with Akiro as well as River. She saw the reddish male glance over in their direction. Her own ears twitching and perking as she heard her mate calling the fighters.

She quickly headed over to her mate, herself. Glancing back to where Akiro was, clearly trying to figure out how he was going to move away from those two. She smiled a bit at the fact he was trying to bond with them. Well, it seemed like he might be.

The reddish looking male twitched darker ears. His darker tipped tail laid against the ground, and he resisted the urge to move it again. He shook his head a couple times. He then smiled a wolf smile, and nodded his head as he looked at the she wolf. He blinked at what she said, and yipped a giggle. Saying “I do the exact same thing when I miss any of my lost family or our lost friends.” He then glanced to the pup, as Azure looked at him. He tilted his head, wondering what the pup had been thinking in that moment.

He made a small sound as he heard the call of the lead fighter. Looking to the male pup as well as the other wolf. He said “I…I’m sorry, but I hear Blaze calling for all the fighters. I’m going to have to head over there to join the rest of the fighters.”

The blue-gray pup and white pup nodded at the other wolf. He said “she didn’t…she didn’t get taken by the avalanche. I don’t know where she went, or why…so it feels like she abandoned me. I know she’d never do that…but I went to sleep next to her and woke up and she was nowhere. Then that nice she wolf and that male found me. What were their names? Hers is Gauge, I think she told me.” He then fell silent to listen to River again, and nodded as he said “That’s… that’s really good advice.” He then looked at Akiro. He honestly wondered if the male wolf could adopt him, but…Akiro was still only two. Shaking his head, he looked at him a moment longer. He then looked to the she wolf again, and said “Thank you for giving me that advice, River.”

The pretty but still handsome male blinked his blue and brown eyes. Seeing that Yomi wasn’t even in the nursery. He supposed that was fine, she was almost a year old. That meant she’d be out of the nursery, and he’d be alone…well, maybe not alone. There was only maybe one or two other pups in the nursery possibly. Shaking his head, he flicked his tail back and forth. He glanced around for a small moment. Then looked towards the entrance and sighed, glancing at the ceiling after that.

The black phase one flicked their white tipped tail back and forth. The white jawed and toed one looked down a moment. They then shook their head, and raised their gaze back up once more. Nodding at her and saying “It’s agreed, then. We’ll hold the ceremony whenever we can. Including this year,” they said, with a small bit of a canine smile. They then glanced around for a small moment, before shaking their head. Looking at the Luna once more as they did. They nodded at her once more, and said “You’re right about that. They definitely lost members of their pack as well…some of which were probably pups.” He looked down at his paws for a moment. Then looked back up at the Luna, before looking towards Cypher.

Their own ears twitched as hers had done, as they also heard the call. They shook their head back and forth a couple times. Then looked to her again and nodded at her, saying “Me too. I mean, I don’t need to speak to him…but he’s calling the hunters. That means I should definitely go over there. It’s fine if you go to tell him you need to speak with him.” They nodded their head as they said all these things. They also nodded as she said she wanted to pick Castor’s brain. They let her speak to him, before calling “I’m coming over, Cypher. I heard your call for the hunters,” and looked at him. They then quickly actually headed over to the other hunter. Passing by Ermin and Yomi on the way, calling to Ermin “Cypher is calling for us.”

The golden-cream slender and slightly smaller female looked to her trainer. Not that she was really a trainee, but she’d been being trained. She was seen as a second healer by the other wolves. She blinked a couple times, and shook her head. She nodded as she looked at the older she wolf. Saying “I get a cough every single year, usually in winter but sometimes in the spring. I should be fine…it won’t get any worse than this.” At least she really hoped not…but it never had before. She then nodded as the other spoke of berries and honey. She said “Okay,” and got up to find the berries. She found enough and began to chew them, before she swallowed them. She coughed again and shook her head, but then her throat began to feel a bit better.

The Luna found Blaze's comment amusing, "Being Beta is a lot of work and pressure." she laughed. She knew all too well that Blaze wasn't the right fit for the position. For now, she deemed the Beta position as closed, until she deemed someone to be good enough to tend to the pack. While she herself was a great Beta, she could not entertain both roles at a time. Her gaze followed Blaze as he called for the fighters to assemble, pleased that she didn't have to say something to him to get the party started. She dipped her head wishing them well on their rounds.

Now that she freed up her attention, she shifted her focus to the hunters. A few weeks ago, before the avalanche, she had an issue with Castor ensuring that the hunters went out without her having to say anything. After a few conversations, they seemed to have come to an understanding of one another. With a tail swoosh, she was off again to go find the Lead Hunter. Upon finding Castor, she cleared her throat. "Good Morning, Castor." she greeted him. Her head tilted as she glanced at the few hunters they had. Then back over at Castor again, "Is everything alright?" she questioned. Certainly after the avalanche their numbers dwindled significantly, but they also gained a few members through their travels.

When she was close enough to Kuroi, she gently rubbed her head against the other. “I have seen better nights of sleep.” she sighed. The last few months were riddled with nightmares in her slumber. “How about you?” she asked , now standing in front of Kuroi. She lowered herself on her hind legs, rolling her tail around her paws.

Cypher had grown tired of waiting for the hunters and decided to go after the Elk himself, not caring whether or not the hunters followed. He followed them for a little while, singling out the elder elks from the younger, and from the elders, he chose one slower then the rest. He's done this before.

He moves in, stalking close to the ground, before racing at the hers, separating them in two, circling back and picking his target from the half, and herding it out before he launched onto it, and within a few minutes, he has it down and ready for the camp. It took only 15 minutes to complete everything, and was just padding back to the camp before hearing Destiny and Kuroyuki. He lifts his head, padding over to them.

"Kuroyuki, Destiny" he said in greeting, dipping his head. He felt better around Destiny, but the sorrow was still there. "Kuroyuki, could you please tell the hunters to go for Elk if you have enough. Bring Yomi along, keep close together. Don't try bringing in anything more then an elder or doe." He said, glancing at Ermin and Yomi, then back at Kuroyuki. "I brought in my own elder, so if you can't get another down go for hares." He said sharply. He wasn't being snippy, his tone was just tired, all the time. Weary even.

He sat on his haunches, watching Kuroyuki pad off to Ermin and Yomi before turning his gaze to Destiny. "You wanted to speak to me?" He asked, flicking his ear and curling his tail around himself. It was shorter then before, he'd lost a bit of it to the avalanche as well, from the cold. It was shorter by a paw, and was only just growing fur once more.

Destiny dipped her head as Cypher greeted her. She was pleased he had kicked the habit of addressing her as 'Alpha' and by name. She preferred her pack call her by name as it made them all seem more equal. At times she wanted to feel like the responsibility was gone and it made conversing with the pack easier as well. She listened to him provide instructions to the hunters and awaited those conversations to dim before engaging in other conversation with Cypher.

She nodded, "Yes, I was hoping to speak with you" she confirmed, wanting to crawl into a hole for repeating herself. She wasn't the best at beginning personal conversations - Destiny would be the first to admit that. "I wanted to check in and see how you were doing? I haven't had much of a chance to personally ask you about how you are after the avalanche" she said softly. The word avalanche struggling to leave her mouth. Looking at Cypher was like looking at her lost friend. A sense of comfort yet sadness washed over her. She knew Dante would of wanted them to continue a friendship. She had made a promise to herself.

Blaze glanced towards Gauge and Akiro as they approached. He dipped his head in greeting to Akiro. He flicked his ear before opening his mouth to formally greet the wolf. "Good morning Akiro " he commented before turning his gaze back towards his mate and offering her a small wag of his tail.

" I was considering the patrols for the day and I think it would be best to split into duo patrols for the day" he finalized his plans as he spoke. Nodding towards Gauge he spoke "I was hoping you could find a free hunter perhaps-River would probably attend - and patrol the further borders, make sure there aren't any lone wolves or anything odd" Blaze rolled his shoulders back standing a bit taller. He was still getting used to officially being the Lead. He had always taken some responisbility for the patols to be sent but now it was his duty to ensure nothing slipped by. And nothing would.

"Akiro, you are going to come with me alongside the Starlight border. I want to ensure they haven't made any foolish moves recently" he added with a flick of his tail. "Besides, I haven't patrolled with you alone before".

With a final nod of his head, he turned towards the camp exit "as always, howl if you need anything" he mentioned before slowly walking away and flicking his tail in motion for Akiro to join him.

River's tail wagged hearing the wolves converse. She stopped it suddenly hearing Azure's response. A soft whine escaped her "I understand the pain" she commented. Flashing back to losing her mother. "But yes, Gauge is an excellent wolf to take care of you. she is the kindest" River confirmed. Hoping to add some confidence into the pup. As Akiro stepped away River offered a dip of her head as a goodbye.
Not yet hearing Castor call for the hunters, she assumed she had a moment with Azure. "Tell me about your mom - if it may help you feel better?"

She noticed some of the others hadn’t come over…Not that they had too many wolves in any rank left after the avalanche. She was just glad they finally had a new healer. Shaking her head, she glanced to her mate and touched her nose to him. She then nodded as he spoke of what he wanted them to do. She wasn’t so sure about bringing a hunter on a scouting mission…However, she only nodded and said “Okay,” to him. She then said “Patrol the further borders and make sure there’s no loners or oddities…got it.”

She stood back up, having sat down as she’d listened to him. She touched her nose to his cheek again, then turned with a flick of her tail. She headed for River, but saw Azure with her…She paused for a moment, listening as the two of them talked.

He watched as Gauge began to walk off, and he woofed a laugh. Saying “She always does, she always does…howl, that is, if help is needed.” She also always looked to Blaze, or mostly looked to Blaze, for rescue or guidance. He shook his head over that fact. Then blinked and said “Oh, um…that’s true. We’ve never really patrolled together before, at least…not without others.”

He’d been told a couple times that even at a two a wolf was still growing. He noticed Gauge hovering…but she didn’t come closer. He said “My mama was blue-gray and white like me, but also had some darker markings.”

Destiny offered a small smile, hearing Cypher's response. She knew this time was hard for him, it was hard for her too. However, Destiny could not imagine just finding a sibling and then losing them quickly. Her ear flicked as Cypher asked her how she was doing. Destiny lifted her head to respond as she normally did, echoing her needed confidence and in acting as if she was alright. She needed to be strong for the sake of her pack. Looking back at Cypher - her facade fell. With a sigh she looked over her shoulder as if to see if anyone was in earshot before looking back at the dark colored wolf.

"Being completely transparent here, I can't say I'm being the best" she admitted in an almost hushed tone. Her tail curling tightly around her as Destiny sat down facing Cypher.

Blaze touched his nose to Gauge's forehead in return to her. He knew it was hard to assign her to find a hunter to assist, but their pack fighter numbers had dwindled. Hopefully soon there would be more. He hoped Castor would be fine with him pulling a hunter. They needed an extra body.

HIs ear flicked hearing Akiro's confirmation about them not patrolling together. He knew Gauge would want Blaze to attempt to bond eventually. It was hard for Blaze to process all the changes that had been occurring around him recently. "Yes, it was time I felt" he replied back shortly. He wasn't trying to come across as rude. But his normal tone didn't help. "How are you this morning"

Cypher watched Destiny, raising his gaze to look at her directly. He knew how hard this was for her. After all, she did get closer with Dante then he did. He sniffed the air as she looked around, sighing. What was wrong? He guessed she would pretend to be okay, as she did with the pack, so when she admitted she wasn't doing the best, he was surprised. She didn't pretend with him, and he appreciated it.

He gave a smile, licking his chops. "It's okay to be not okay. Everyone has times where they need support. Is there anything I can do to help?"He said, genuine and earnest as he spoke.

He wondered if their was something more to this conversation then just checking in on each other. But he didn't press, letting her speak at her own pace. He'd lend an ear as a friend, if she needed one. And if she didn't, he'd support her in other ways.

She looked at the younger wolf for a moment shaking her head a bit "Getting sick every year is not technically normal, it's not risky either, but it means you have a very bad immune, maybe you could try to eat more fish and eggs, you could have some vitamin and it could improve immunity" she said to her. She shook her head a bit again, knowing that getting fish could not be a problem, but getting eggs could be as most of them were on trees and those who were not were usually too small to give the amount of vitamin a wolf could need.

She looked at the other young wolf with a stare, which she herself didn't notice before she looked at her "...I don't know, I think I did sleep indeed, but I had so weird dreams, it didn't get any sense and I don't even remember them anymore...I guess it was kind of a restless night for me" she responded to her. She thought for a moment "Why is that? Did you have a nightmare or something? Nothing to do with your...um...dad?" she said to her flicking her tail a bit wondering if she could bring her father out or not. She looked the way where Kuroyuki was overhearing their call to Ermin and Yomi "I guess they are looking for the hunters...maybe I could join you there as a guard or whatever?, If you're going of course?" she said to her.

She turned to Kuroyuki when the hunter approved them, she flicked her ears rather curiously when they mentioned her name "Am I supposed to join the hunting too?" she answered with a little confusion, she was still a pup. She gave a little annoyed look at Ermin "Fine, fine, I will come if I am allowed to come" she said with a flick of her tail. She looked at Kuroyuki, mentioning the other hunters "Kiyu is over there with my sister" she said pointing her nose to their way.

He looked at Yomi and then toward the Kuroyuki who were calling to them "With you, is he not coming with us?" he questioned the other hunter. His ears perked to Yomi "They ready said Cypher what us, meaning you as well" he responded to her with a flick of his white tail. He stood up with a shake of his white pelt a bit then looked back at Kuroyuki "Hopefully we can get some elk, hares can feed the pack for long" he responded flicking his tail.

He looked around or at his front paws, he could soon start collecting the hunters for hunting, which didn't really motivate him at the moment at all, knowing how hard the hunting would be with such a small amount of hunters. He shook his head a bit before turning to Luna approving him, which kind of surprised him, she seemed to be closer to the lead fighter than with him. Though he didn't see why she would not be closer to the lead fighter, Blaze was a great wolf, greater than he could ever be. He sighed a bit "Morning, Luna." he responded with a little broken or silent voice, taking a moment of silentness like trying to figure out how to answer, could he speak or could he not "It's fine...it's just...the pack has not enough hunters...I am afraid I am not able to do what I am supposed to do, can I feed the pack?
