The victims of the demand are usually people who stress to get the pet fast! And I get that. In my time on CS I've fallen victim to this too many times to admit. The silly amounts I overpaid for none rares, ridiculous.
I now learned to step back and Inhale, exhale when I feelt that inner clock starting to tick. It's a hard but valuable lesson as cs mirrors our irl World which is not a bit behind in fast pace compared to CS.
Additionally I've learned that things aquired fast usually don't bring as much joy! Yes, getting 4 cancelled trades? annoying as hell! But when the 5th goes through, I sit wiggling in my chair and will remember that pets Name for another year.

Also, I haven't been too active in Forums the couple years but since when is hoarding seen as Bad? Most hoarders I known are not the ones hijacking prices. If you overpay for every single pet, you'll quickly end up broke. Also, a hoarder has to pay the same value as you for their rare + pet. It's not like hoarder get stuff for free, just because we hoard (I Wish!!!).
Remember that all pets in a hoard are not pets actively taken from you. It's the same as if they were perma locked in somebodys collection.
It just means you have to look else where for the pet - but once you have it, the hoarder most likely will be your best bet for date swaps or such :)

You know, I kind of get your point, as no one needs to accept overpay, but when I simply post in the Halloween event swap thread that I have a spare event banner fox for trade and then people send me trades, I actually do assume that they are very well aware of what they are doing. I did not ask for it, but why would I refuse the chance to get some wishlist pets if people willingly offer?

On another note, I did not understand the huge demand for the blue banner fox during the first one to two days after its release anyways. I mean, demand is still high, but during the first days it seemed really crazy. Knowing that there are still so many days left to collect banners I was not sure why people started panicking, but tbf maybe I was just this relaxed because I got so lucky. Dunno.


I'll be honest here, I thought the event ended on Halloween XD I didn't pay much attention to when it actually started and when they were saying it would end. I just saw the event was up and was like "mmmm time for pet". I wanted to get the purple fast because I thought it was over Halloween! Heheheh. I gotta start paying attention...

it's the artist malk's lineart and everyone really likes those just like the fae foxes etc

Bit of a random question, why do people buy tokens for around 3C$ each but buy the token pets for around 5C$??

Wouldn't the token pets be around 9C$??

Am I missing something?

Is it just me or is the blue? Drink themed pet hard to find but then again I did try for it last night I went to bed slightly after rollover

I love how soft and colorful the slime pets are and the Cerberus pups are super cool <3
