Hello everyone! 'Tis I, Chicken Smoothie user Apollyon.
Yes, it's true. i am a real person. (allegedly).

uuuuhhh so i started drawing this i thinkkk sometime last year?? but i forgot about it as per usual, and then life happened and so i let this rot for SO DAMN LONG that i've already changed by hair color three times since starting this. lol.
BUT i colored it to look like what my hair currently looks like!! just for accuracy's sake i guess. when i started this i had neon green hair (which wouldve been significantly easier to color in lol).
also, not even sure if i want to go by jayce still. AGH! SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED IN A YEAR lmaoo

as you can probably tell, i tried to shove as much general information about me on the drawing as i could,
BUT,
in all honesty it's still barely scratching the surface!! so if you have any questions about me, feel free to ask em here! i love to yap, especially when it's about myself and my interests (lol) so i'll be happy to answer anything you want to ask about me here! ^^

to start us off with some fun facts, i'll go first:

1. i'm attending university right now, and majoring in classics and religious studies! :D (which is why my activity is so weird as of late lol)
2. in my free time, lately i've been watching a lot of the tv show Dexter, and compilations or Northernlion, Jerma, and Slimecicle on youtube.
3. my favorite movie is a toss up between: dead poets society, trainspotting, and the princess bride
4. i have a younger sister who also plays occasionally on CS!
5. i've been on CS since early elementary school, although my first account was deleted many years ago. :3
6. my favorite CS forum thread is kalplantai's "Listen to the song above you!" i've found many of my all-time fav songs on there over the years. ♡

THANK YOU AHHH that makes me so happy because there is definitely stiff competition on here for that position haha! >:3 OMG yayyyy YESS i love hearing about it when mutuals on here also like fallout. it gets all my brain worms DANCING with excitement mwahaha! i have yet to watch the show though, I MEAN TO i really mean to watch it!! i just like to do things in order, so im waiting to finish my playthrough of fallout: new vegas before i start watching >:3 i will let you know about it as soon as i do though! ^^

OMG im going to be taking a class on the divine comedy next quarter!! im SO excited because ive wanted to read it for a long time, so im super stoked to have the option to take a class on it and learn what's been said about it! hehehe

YEA okay so. pretty much i was raised on the internet and have been online since i can remember (since birth probably) BUT was too young to actually participate in the scene community when it was first active. instead i just remember sneaking onto myspace pages whenever i could to lurk, and envy the cool drip and music on there. i remember distinctly wanting to have neon green scene hair at age 8, but my mom wouldnt allow it lol. so yeah! i was really emo in middle school though, and have been into p!atd since their myspace days, as well as ptv, mcr, brokencyde, millionaires, etc. i'd say ive always leaned a bit more emo than scene, but i certainly have been LIVING for the revival that seems to be happening in the cities where i live lately!! ive been going to so many good shows these past couple years, and was able to even see millionaires live!! kandi trading is also still a thing which is PHENOMENAL! but yeah, i'm just slightly too young to have been able to fully, truly experience the scene. X3

alrighty SO! i switch between using my Wacom Cintiq 16 (which is my preferred method of drawing digitally, only downside it it's HUGE and super bulky so not easily transportable) or a medium-sized 2023 HUION Inspiroy 2!!
I've also tried drawing on CS oekaki using my iPad, but usually that doesn't work too well lol. in general, i find traditional art much more fun to do for my sketches and line-work because I tend to had a steadier hand, but nothing beats coloring digitally ^^
as far as programs go, i originally learned how to draw digitally on Photoshop and CS Paint, but now i just dont really spend time drawing digitally except for on my iPad when i'm on vacation, and here. i prefer to doodle in sketchbooks more than anything! never seem to finish those drawings though...
