Honestly? Give it a month or so, however long until both rarity is assigned and the hype has cooled off, and it will be easier to do a normal trade for it.

I've been really enjoying the art this year, but the past couple years I've generally been wishing there were more dogs. That's all I really collect, so I end up just spending my tokens on one or two boxes.

I didn’t notice this till you said it but there is a lack of dogs this event. The only two is the vampire wolves(?) and the one glowstick pup. It’s been mainly hamsters and foxes(I consider BW as foxes they look more Fox like to me)

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I hope we get a GUpps version of this guy in advent

Yes! I noticed even at the summer event it felt like there weren't as many. The art is getting really really neat for each pet, I just always enjoy the dogs the most.

I've only gotten one banner fox so far :/ (I have a bit over 100 token count)
didn't get the orange caterpillar either rip, not gonna be fun getting that one

also a friendly reminder for everyone! (I feel like not everyone might know/remember this) if you have groups with pets that are all not for trade (say you have one group for events pets you will keep and one for swaps), you can make that nft group unavailable for others to trade for in the group settings. it's a win-win for both yourself everyone else :)

I'll be honest: I like the decreased dog presence. It always felt like they received a disproportionate amount of releases, and it really makes them blend together more in my mind. I get why other people miss them though! Dogs are neat, and also as an avid dressup fan I can 100% say they're the best to customize.

Real tbh, it was really hard to try to get one as someone who primarily trades tokens for pets (and not to Toroto, sorry bud), cause either they were very popular or everyone was not lucky enough to roll them

But they're a beautiful pet and they make me very happi! Shadowy creatures my beloved~
