I feel like the Halloween event is particularly long this year, does anyone think we'll get the banner limit raised past 300? I missed two entire days of token hunting and somehow still hit the banner limit (250 rn)

i think it just started late, but i do think it'll get raised to 300, yes
i feel like more years than not it does top out at 300 or 350 and not <250

also, turns out it's much easier to catch up on the event AFTER you take a big exam. phew, chickensmoothie time has arrived

When was the last time the banner limit was 350? I've been playing every banner event obsessively since 2022 Halloween (took a 6 yr break from this website bc I forgot it existed, whew) and so far, I've only seen the banner limits raised to 300.

chat is this a safe space to say im a little disappointed with how many hamsters we've been getting when there's much cooler, spookier lineart going unused? i like the hamsters but it's... a lot.

What’s getting to me is the fact that that the artists are absolutely outdoing themselves with gorgeous edits, but they’re inherently limited by how tiny the dwarf hamster lines are. They give less of an impression in a way, which is a real shame as they’ve been doing great work this year that is unfortunately limited by species choice.

I've found if you trade you can usually get all token pets at well under the final limit though haha.

yep I've found 143 banners and currently have 50 tokens which means I've only used about 90 for a complete set of pets/items so far. I'm surprised at how easy it is to swap for missed outcomes, and much less wasteful. I don't think I've seen a trade-in with a pet that is noticeably rarer than the others for quite a while

real. i'm collecting all dwarf hamsters in a group, but i'm also collecting this event's pets in a seperate group. this way, i need every dwarf hamster twice which is quite a lot of work this event
