So honestly yeah, I’d also like to be told about toys if anyone has actually found ones that can’t be destroyed.
Our cats destroy their toys too (or at least the ones on the sticks/poles…the um…whatever those are, the ones where they’re attached to a pole.)
they do have indestructible dog toys, usually just made of hard rubber makes it hard to tear apart and shred. those have worked well with dogs i've had in the past. but all the cat toys i've found this far marketed as being indestructible looks very much like something he could still tear apart. i've thought about just offering him the dog toys but i doubt that'd peak his interest and i don't want to buy them just for them to lay there.
i would like to find toys i can leave out for him to have access to and i don't have to monitor the whole time. 🥲 i also have 9 other cats besides him so it sucks that they don't have access to toys anymore either other than at night when i lock my other cat up. main thing i've been using with him is the puzzle toys. he loves figuring those out.
Ah, right.
I mean, you never know. Maybe just buy one of those dog toys and see if he’ll play with it?
Well, puzzle toys sound like fun, so at least he has those. Do your other cats play with those?

yeah i may see if he's interested. i found a couple on Amazon today that look like it may work.
something like these:

i thought these ones were plastic but upon a closer look i just noticed they're actually rope. may still work, but i would have to trim the loose ends.

unfortunately my other cats do not enjoy the puzzles, he is the only one that will use them. i'll be ordering him some more puzzles. higher levels/more complex ones as he's pretty much mastered the ones he has now so they aren't really challenging him anymore.

There is a very thin gray cat that lives in the neighborhood and I think it's a stray because it has no collar and doesn't seem to have a place to go back to. Earlier today it saw us and ran over to our yard. It seemed confused and anxious but also would come up to us if we beckoned it and let us pet it. We put out some food for it and it sniffed it but didn't eat. This cat has gone to our yard before but only a couple of times. I hope it'll be OK because there are some mean people in our neighborhood ;_; I really hope the best for this little guy.

@honeycat;
I have those cage balls for my cat! She really likes the one with the catnip ball inside. I got them for my cat as something she could eat or chew on, but my cat never chews on anything, she just rubs her face on them. If I remember right, they're advertised as toys that can be eaten by cats?
I was thinking about posting these cage balls on here as a recommendation for a chewable cat toy for a little kitty who loves to chew on everything. Unfortunately I can't confirm because my little stinker Banshee just doesn't eat them like they're advertised for. Probably worth a shot though!

Ooo, those look really nice.
Might have to show the cage balls to my mom.
Yeah, the rope looking ones could work if you trim the ends like you said.
Ah, my. Well, if he doesn’t like the cage balls, you could give them to the other cats. Otherwise, if they do work you could maybe get extra ones for the other cats, and those rope looking ones too if he ends up not being able to chew those up.
