thirty-five. his birthday is the turn of winter into spring, when the snow is melting off of the
grass and he is waking up with the flowers ── cismale [he/him] ── demisexual and demirom
antic ── 6'2" with a muscular body and scars on his leg that are from a bear trap. his hair's m
essy all of the time sorry ── bear shift!! ── nish was born into a family that didn't believe in
holding in what they are, but in celebrating it. they're bears baby!! his mother didn't have to
tell him what he was, it just was when he was growing up. a fact of his life ── the only child
of his family, but a lot a lot of extended family that would gather in the forest and at the riv
er every year for a celebration. every year there was less and less extended family gathering
with them ── he was fifteen when the people hunting them got to his mother and his family
and nish started running into the forest. no gathering at the river, sorry :( it was a health haz
ard ── he started to get comfortable in his human shift again when he was with the pack, an
d there was a chance of having a sense of
community again. kind of gangly and awkward with all of his limbs sometimes, and he still pr
efers fishing like he would when he was a bear. at least he's started cooking the fish these da
ys lmao ── learned how to survive in the forest for a long time. resourceful w his surroundin
gs and kept himself entertained w all the little things in life. wood carving is one of his favor
ite things to do, with his claws and now learning with a whittlers knife. probably made every
one a wooden charm of their animal shift to give to them as a gift ── he really likes cooking
actually! nish started cooking for real when he got access to the kitchen, and he's gotten rea
lly good at grilling. not so much baking. don't mind that he's carrying the raw fish in his mout
h if he's turning it into the perfect fish fillet like he's in an episode of chopped── somewhere
in him there's this deep-rooted fear of losing the pack. finding where he belongs just to be al
one again. nish is protective, which is nice because when he's a bear he's strong enough to pi
ck up a car. it's wayy easier to protect people when you can pick up a car ── reliable in that
regard, if not dependant. he finds himself falling into old habits and sitting alone in the kitch
en a lot for someone who doesn't like to be alone ── suuuuper physically affectionate. he's h
olding onto the pack w all of him!! he's really good at bear hugs and likes picking people up a
nd spinning them ── communicates nonverbally more than he does with his voice; very anim
ated w his movements, though he's got a LOUD laugh. and he does laugh a lot, actually. just
happy to be here tbh with you ── but that doesn't mean he doesn't communicate a lot with h
is voice still. really vocal and will talk your ear off, but it's a 50/50 on if you understand what
exactly he's trying to convey to you. it sure does sound pleasant tho ── slow and steady wins
the race!! nish is kindaaaa maybe a little lazy. he gets super lethargic when it's cold and he'll
move really sluggishly. think walking out his bedroom using a blanket for a cape and then fall
ing asleep at the dining table anyway ── the worst handwriting you have ever seen. if it's be
en too long since he's written it, even he won't remember what it reads
