Uhm, I just got a message after claiming a banner that says "You've now reached the limit of the number of prizes you can find :)." and I was just wondering if this is a joke? I've collected 200 candies total apparently. Is this for the whole event or will it reset after rollover?

This is normal, the token events always have banner limits. Usually the limit starts around 150-200 and then is raised a couple of times, the final limit typically being 250-300. I would expect a final limit of 300 this year since the initial limit is 200. I've seen a few people hit the limit now so most likely it'll get raised in the next day or two.

Thank you so much for the clarification! It's been awhile since I participated in the Halloween event, let alone hit a limit! :')

Editing: I have exactly 1,740 of these items.

Edit 2: I guess it was a glitch. What should I do about the enormous amount I got from the glitch? I am very sorry about that. Could I possibly host a raffle for the extras I got or...

There was an issue with the contacts free giveaway today that allowed some people to adopt way too many contact items. If you adopted the contacts over 2 times, all of your contacts have been cleared and you need to re-adopt them. The new limit is 2 adoptions, so if you only adopted the contacts once, you can now adopt a second set. Sorry for the mixup everyone!

This is a banner pet!

This means that sometimes when clicking on the event banner you will receive something else (either a pet or non-token item) instead of a token. These are rarer to receive than tokens. How many different banner pets or items there are varies by year but typically there are 2-4 different outcomes.
Banner pets are usually released throughout the duration of the event, and it looks like this one was just added, which is why you couldn't find it in the archives!

This isn't necessarily a hard rule, though often times they are. This one came out a bit before rollover!
