DAY THREE

[MAJORITY VOTED TO CALL SPIEGEL!] This is tiring. Nothing is working. You sigh. Standing in front of the mirror, you tap on the glass a bit. "spiegel.." you call. No answer. You get annoyed. "Spiegel. Hello? I need help, thank you very much!" Still no answer. You groan in annoyance and sit down against the mirrors. "Look. I need help! I'm hungry, and tired, and this dumb maze makes no sense!" Yet he doesn't respond. 'I'm sorry I didn't join your side.' Seconds later, a paw reaches out of the mirror above you, and he crawls out of it. Shocked, you flinched away from the mirror. You didn't know he was.. well.. REAL real. Although.. He looks.. vaguely familiar.









𝙎𝙋𝙄𝙀𝙂𝙀𝙇> ' See? I knew you missed me. Glad you didn't follow in with that old piece of junk? (Anwir)..' You rolled your eyes, scoffing. ' So.. I think you've begun to realize this place ain't so normal, hm?. ' you nod. "Didn't you say you were apart of my imagination? The dots aren't connecting here." You shot back. He ponders for a moment. "True. Well. I am, technically. If you haven't seemed to notice- this place stretches on forever. It's a very specific path to escape which you have, dumbly, manage to fall off of. If you only followed the normal paths- just maybe you would have found the way out."





𝙎𝙋𝙄𝙀𝙂𝙀𝙇> 'This place, its abnormal, really. It twists and turns- grows and shortens. It can change shape or size at any time, and you sometimes barely realize it- or you do, and convince yourself it's fake. But who knows."


"yes, okay, great. That's obvious. You didn't really answer my question- but, anyway. I need your help--"


𝙎𝙋𝙄𝙀𝙂𝙀𝙇> 'Nope! For a Price. I said that earlier.


You end up arguing, but eventually with a sigh, he gives up.


𝙎𝙋𝙄𝙀𝙂𝙀𝙇> 'Fine... fine.. what do you want to know."


You sigh. You hasn't thought much about it. Your mind is clouded. You're still hungry and dizzy. What do you ask him?

PATH A. If Spiegel can teleport through mirrors, maybe he can phase outside of the mirror maze too? Ask him to go and get you some food and water so you don't pass out mid discussion..

PATH B. Ask him to contact Mirage. You know he can, since there are plenty of mirrors there in the shop- and that's the first time you saw him. Ask mirage to let you out, and ask them both how to escape.

PATH C. Ask about Anwir, and about the maze. Something isn't right. I mean, it's obvious, but there has to be more to discover.. right?

PATH D. Forget mirage. You feel suspicious, so you decide to ask Spiegel to lead you to the way out.

Writing: "You can- Go through mirrors, correct? Can you pass though any mirror? Doesn't the entrance have tons of mirrors? Could you ask the one who brought us here, what was his name? Mirage? Just what is happening? Where are we this cant be the same building, I've been walking for ages and no end in sight, I just want to go home, I didn't sign up for...all of this" She gestures to the twisting pathways of mirrors, stretching as far as she can see. "How do we leave, where do these halls even go?" she goes off on a ramble, words spilling out before she can think to wait for a response. This went on for a few minutes till she finally ran out of words to say, an annoyed sigh leaving her "So? Are you going to help?"

Writing: Carmine thought for a moment about what to ask. She had a feeling Mirage might have a hand in all this and didn't fully trust her at this point. She also didn't quite trust Spiegel to give her a straight answer about anything, even less so about Anwir, but she knew knowledge was her friend in this - however dubious the source . Her curiosity about the maze in general overwhelmed her. She looked back over to Spiegel, "Can you tell me a bit about the maze, and Anwir?"
