To follow the scent of food would be to cave into foolish cravings and misguided desires - Russet was no idiot.

And to sit down and think? Russet was no quitter, even if he had a hard time admitting even to himself that he needed help, making the undesirable third option the right one.

With a heavy sigh, he turned to face the mirror and called out Spiegel's name quietly, as if to not disturb the silence that haunted the multitudes of his reflections that surrounded him.

"Spiegel...?"

Writing: Ornate grimaces, the hunger clawing at their stomach steadily taking over their mind as they walk. They stop, smelling the out of place smell of food, no that cant be right. not in a place like this. They sit down against a mirror and contemplate for a moment while they still have a sound mind to do so. God these lights are making them nauseous. They begin to regret not going with Anwir.. he was right about how odd this place was, even if his last words to them were a tad threatening, his companionship would be more than welcome at the moment.[Text]

Writing:
Ichabod sighs as he hears his stomach rumble, Maybe I should have gotten that bag of caramel corn or a candy apple before coming here. Even though following the scent of food is enticing, Ichanod advises himself against doing so. He has watched one too many horror movies to know what happens when you do! A noise off in the distance brings Ichabod back from his thoughts, I better make a decision soon before someone...or something else makes it for me! He contemplates his options out loud, cautiously considering the results of all three.

"Following the scent is completely out of the equation. I don't want to become something's lunch in here...Sitting down to think sounds great, but doesn't seem very safe not knowing who or what could find me..." he trails off knowing what the final, and only, logical choice is.

Ichabod shakes his head as he begrudgingly faces the wall of eerie mirrors, "Spiegel, you were right. I should have allowed you to..er..help me before. I would appreciate your help now!"

Slowly, he steps away from the mirror. Cautiously awaiting Spiegel's reply...if he chooses to provide one that is. If nothing else, maybe Anwir will appear instead...One is truly better than none. Even just to have some tips on getting out of here.

Writing: I’m starting to regret coming in to this maze… I feel sick, hungry, and a sensation like exhaustion is creeping over me. My feet drag as I continue on. This maze is disorienting, and I can hear my heartbeat in my ears. I’m starting to regret not taking Spiegel's help when it was offered. Anwir seems to be untrustworthy, judging by the pounding in my head. But maybe Spiegel really can get me out of this maze…
