Writing: I hesitated, torn between who to choose. This whole situation is just creepy, and I’m not sure I can trust either of them. I consider continuing on alone, but something makes me think that Spiegel may follow me regardless… and honestly, I’m not sure if I can actually get through this thing alone. Anwir seems like the less dangerous of the two…

Writing:
Ichabod stands there uncomfortably listening to the two bicker back and forth. You'd think they were siblings or something, he says in his head. Once they finally break from bickering, Ichabod states, "I think I will risk it and take the journey myself." Or at least by myself down the hallway, he tells himself as he can't help but feel like someone...or something lingers in waiting at any point within the long spooky maze he must continue through.

He can't quite put his finger on it, but there's something about Spiegel that unsettles him... perhaps its the way he haunts the shadows, preying on the unsuspecting visitors of a seemingly harmless carnival game, or the way he can't read his expression, even with all the mirrors surrounding them.

Russet quickly shoves all his tickets further out of sight into his pockets, just in case Spiegel tries to charge him for any "services" anyways and shades his head as he slowly backs away towards the talking computer as it starts to bicker with my dark companion? guide? stalker? Anwir might not be the better choice, but he's definitely the least creepy of the two, and something about wandering through this maze alone doesn't sit right with him.

"I... I think I'll stick with Anwir for now, thanks..."
