2024 Halloween Event - Pet, Item & Event Discussion

To be honest, I didn’t even read the text next to them - so I genuinely thought they were just different takes of being filled with critters, similar to Oogie Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas. Especially because this one in particular gives me “Oogie Boogie” vibes (where we find out he’s full of/made up of bugs), I honestly just assumed it was that and the other 3 were just different variations of that vibe (or even that they were “possessed” by the little critters lol). My other guess was the little critters went dressed up as CS rats for Halloween.

Either way, I definitely think they embody the scary/spooky vibe of Halloween really well!

Edit to add: Now that I said it out loud, I genuinely can’t unsee the little critters being dressed up as rats for Halloween - hence them being hungry for candy (their trick or treaters) and why the blue one looks so happy (he’s getting candy, why wouldn’t he be excited!)

Ah the rats, lol. I first thought they were a spooky take on some sort of symbiosis, where two animals rely on each other for survival.. sometimes becoming one creature. I made it up in my mind that the critters are their true mouths - fooling creatures nearby that they are helpless victims, when they are fine, curiousity or the need to help could lead to prey coming right up to them. Xd

Thank you for saying this because it really creeped me out thinking the rats were eating them but it’s kind of cute to think the rats are costumes or that they’re one creature, very interesting. (Now I can stand to look at them lol.)

I’m so happy for the 2nd gens, I actually love 2nd gen event pets, because it’s one of the only times we get 2nd gens of lineart edit pets. This pair looks very promising, I remember someone suggesting it months ago on the 2nd gen suggestion thread, so cool that they picked it!! Interesting how the newborns look just like normal newborns, I wonder if the second stage will have any lineart edits.

I would just like to say, the Halloween event has just begun and the pets look so freaking amazing already. I've never had an event where I have actively wanted every single pet because of how cool they simply were. (Rats are never a fan favorite of mine).

The rats are extremely unique and scary, this year, the banner pet is on fire/point, and them dogs/apple fennecs? -chiefs kiss-

I absolutely cannot wait to see more of the released pets, I haven't wanted to be this active on CS since I was younger.

I hope an artist or two sees this, because you have absolutely outdone yourselves this year! <3

The CS rat lineart isn't my jam, personally, but I'm loving the edit with it eating something. It's creepy and cool.

So far nothing has really caught my eye as a pet I really want to keep, but I think the designs are all very cool so far. I'm especially excited for the second-gen horse litter to grow up.

I'm loving the rats, they give me sandworm vibes. I almost was going to forego the first outcomes because I'm already falling behind but after seeing them I decided I have to get them anyways because I love the sandworm so I love these little guys lol

Still haven't managed to get the black wolf/dog yet aaaaah, I have so many of the others though now hahaha
