Are banner pets released one a day?

Usually the Halloween event has around 3 banners pets, and the next one is released after a few days. Last year, I believe the second banner pet was released on day 4.

Does the first banner pet become unavailable when the second is released?

Nope! It will remain available throughout the event's duration. :)

How do I get ahold of this fox? I've seen people with it, but all I see you can get are the apple foxes and the rats!

Is there a reason why the potion and vial items don't show up under the Halloween tab or was that an accident?

This usually happens where you've accidentally double-clicked the banner. The item you receive will only be shown if you click once. Click twice by accident, and you will see an error message.

If the timer reset itself then you were definitely given an item.

If you knew your token totals beforehand, check on them now and you should see you have one extra. If you're worried about this happening again, keep an eye on the amount of tokens you have and if you get the error message next time you click a banner, you will know what your totals were previously so you can compare.

The banner is unable to reset without giving you anything, so even if you did not see it, you will have received something.

A banner pet comes from the banner.

You look around the site for a trick or treat banner. Sometimes, you'll get lucky and get a pet instead of a candy item used for the token trade ins

Occasionally we'll forget to set items as being for certain event, etc. You can report things like this over on this thread. Though in this case its not necessary to do so, I've already let the staff that handle that know and it should be fixed soon ^^
