Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I like to think so! I have provided advice and support in the support threads like "The Comfort Corner" and "LGBTQ+" threads. I try to offer help and support in pms or where it seems needed. I have received pet and item gifts occasionally as a result of this. I have had a few online friends join CS over the years and I've helped them navigate and get acquainted with the site and site functions. My goal in participating in this program is to help more users, particularly new members who need support. As someone who has been a member of this site for over 10 years now, having grown into an adult and now having a unique position that allows me to be online frequently, I feel I am able to provide support to new users and would love to spend me time doing so. I also helped my first newbie recently.

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: As an adult member, I consider it part of my responsibility to help create and foster a supportive and inclusive environment here on CS. When I first joined in 2013, I had a hard time navigating the site and learning about everything involved here. From forum and site rules to oekaki, roleplay and forum discussions and games, this is only one aspect of CS. On the other hand, there is trading and rarity systems. There are so many questions! I would love to be a trusted member others, particularly new members can rely on and look to for support here on CS! Offline, I have worked in many support roles for both youth and adults from being an art teacher to a supervisor, I am confident I have had extensive experience in similar roles that would help me be the best support of comfort and assistance to new users. I've since worked with a newbie! I was as helpful and kind as possible and they appreciated all my help. I'm still happy to continue providing them support and help while having new newbies to help!

How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I am on CS throughout the day every day! So I am available the majority of the time. The longest a member might wait for a response is an hour or two unless I am sleeping. I am home the majority of the day and studying for my degree in web design so I am often on the computer.

Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yes! I read everything including the FAQ to ensure I understood what was expected of me when applying. I would very much like to participate in this program.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Absolutely! My goal is to provide support and friendship to newbies and I understand how daunting navigating and overwhelming a new website with a lot of information can be. It can be easy to make mistakes or become overwhelmed so I am hoping I can help new members navigate and overcome that!

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: i'm passionate about helping folks and well-versed in how chickensmoothie works. despite being a returning player, i've actually been using chickensmoothie for several years on and off. i'm familiar with multiple aspects of the site, such as trading, coding, and closed species. i'm also just awesome in general /j <3

I try to help out in the CS servers with trade value/pet pricing as well as the Help forum! I occasionally visit the Is This A Fair Trade thread.

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?:
I’d quite enjoy helping out new, and inexperienced returning players alike. Many of us have been in both positions before, and it can be extremely confusing and frustrating when you don’t know what you’re doing or how to begin valuing things on your own. I have had one or two other CS accounts over the years and have taken multiple hiatuses/forgot about CS personally only to have my passion reignited a few years later every time. I have a decent bit of knowledge and understanding of CS and pet values, terms, c$, items, etc!

How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?:
I log on to CS daily and check it every 30 min periodically throughout the day and majority of the night, so I am frequently available.

How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: I was on another roleplaying forum website, one for Warrior Cats, and decided to check out this site when someone linked it!
What do you like best so far?: I can't choose if I like the diversity in forum boards or the entire pet adoption aspect more. For one thing, I am a sucker for animals and absolutely will be adopting and maybe trading animals throughout my time here, but I also love how specific some of the forum boards' uses are, there's no specific reason I can think of, I just like it. I will likely be roleplaying here occasionally if I have time!
