I,, already do this. On the daily. BDNXND I have a few self inserts already for a few games, but I'll insert myself into my own little side project au I have going on for my kalons! It's a cyberpunk setting, where humans were almost wiped out by a virus that wasn't able to treated (not zombie-like, but affects the brain stem & sudden death becomes apparent). Humans from the past years created androids (I/Os) to hold memories of those cryogenically frozen, and to build a world post-virus. There is so much more lore but I'll save that for another day! Anyway, once the new world has been created, the surviving humans are now alive and let loose into the high-tech civilisation, that's sorta like a bubble? There's various different "bubbles" all connected—they're called sectors. The internet is built from a few different decommissioned I/Os, acting as the database/core for it. Everything is reliant on the internet & it provides an area where they can insert themselves into the metaverse (like VR but quite literally putting your consciousness into it, so you can see and interact like you're really there). If I popped myself into it, I'd probably be a DJ of sorts! Little underground no-name that does it for fun, performs at bars of a Saturday night. I'd probably look like I am now, but with a cool little tech helmet that has animal ears attached, probably coloured blue and white. Brown hair w/ purple underneath, something like that. Just your average joe shmoe :P

• not particularly. unless you count trying to get all of the achievements in the quarry a project. i would not, but :shrug:
  i've acquired most of them at this point (thirty-four out of forty, to be exact), but the few i have left will almost certainly require me to play through the game at least twice more? each one will take around seven hours, if i use my last playthrough as the standard. i'm trying to decide if it's worth it or not. there's a good chance i'll play it at least one more time anyway to try to find the last scraps of dylan lenivy dialogue i have yet to see, so i figure it can't hurt to see how many of the six achievements i can knock out along the way.
  
  ^ i might have to try that! i used to love writing, but it's a hobby i've let fall to the wayside. a paragraph a day certainly sounds doable, although i guess it depends on the type of paragraph.

gosh, this is always unnecessarily hard for me... art is definitely something i enjoy. especially when it comes to drawing cartoony stuff. and with some tunes or a nice video essay in the background, oh yeah ^_^
my gut instinct was my to say girlfriend, but i would argue that's more of a love :p

Sadly, I've had no time to find a costume, so I'll say my favorite Halloween candy is anything Reese's.

^ Try looking in thrift shops/stores who sell brands at a cheaper price! Those places were my go-tos whenever I needed an article of clothing for a Halloween costume.

Gonna attempt to trick or treat with my bf and my little sister. We are all “too old” since she looks older now than last year, but hopefully ppl will be okay with that 😅 perhaps our shortness will save us. We will also carve pumpkins this week (: and my friends might be hosting a party but they aren’t sure yet

I do! Unfortunately, the place I'm renting doesn't have a front porch, so I can't carve pumpkins and put them out this year. Very sad! My favourite designs to do are animals; black cats and other spooky critters are great.

^ You're never too old to do trick-or-treating, and everyone has a different reason for going out and partaking! If you put effort into your costume, I'll always give you candy - whether you're 36 or 8.

the invisible life of addie larue - v.e. schwab. it's about a girl who makes a deal with a "demon/devil" in the 1700s to live forever, in exchange she is forgotten by everyone she meets. the plot is actually really good: she meets someone who is a loophole in the deal and remembers her. unfortunately i dnf the book about 75% in because it was going NOWHERE. i'll get back to it one day!! i haven't been reading as much (not including fanfic guiltyyyyy), i worked a ton and i like to play video games more in my freetime ^^
