Scanning over his herd, Kingston did a head count, making sure everyone was accounted for. He did notice a few stallions treading dangerously close to his borders. He pinned his ears back and let out a loud squeal, signaling a warning to the stallions that dared to come so close to the borders and threatening aggression if they got closer. He would defend his herd with his life. He valued loyalty as he was loyal to his herd members. He also expected that same loyalty in return. After his warning was made, he then trotted over to two of his mares, Matcha and Seneca. He gave each an affectionate nicker. He did respect Seneca's space though, given Matcha's reminder, giving her a good few feet of space. "Hello ladies. How are you two today?" he asks.

Hurricane stood over her foals protectively. While twins were rare, especially in the wild, Hurricane would give the world for her two twin colts. She scanned the area as her foals nursed, spotting a group a little while away, where one of the mares and her foal seemed displeased with a stallion. While she wished to help the fellow mother, she wasn't willing to risk her colts' safety by alerting the group.

Drizzle had just drunken his full, but he was sure that his twin had enough to drink as well. He poked his head out, ears flicking as he took in the surroundings, now that he wasn't distracted by hunger.

Emilia was grazing, munching on grass when she noticed two horses in the distance (Mana and Mithril). She noticed the stallion first, he was quite handsome, she wasn't gonna lie, the other was nice on the eyes as well, but something about the buckskin stallion truly caught her eye. She swallowed the grass she was munching and decided to approach. She trotted over, showing no sign of aggression, but rather keen interest.

Icarus had watched the whole encounter between the stallion and the mares and two fillies. He had wished he had interfered and helped them get away, but he had noticed it too late and they had fled already before he could react. He knew that if he approached they would likely flee from him too, so he just stood a good distance away, in a relaxed manner, hoping they'd feel comfortable enough to approach him once they calmed down.

Alice woke up to her mother's unmoving body. She tried everything she could but was unable to wake her. Her mother did not wake from her slumber. Alice was now alone in the world, without her mother to protect her and comfort her. Alice was afraid, for the first time in her life, she no longer had her mother. Appa had been wandering for some time now. He was hungry, unable to find a sustainable food source. He was able to find water during his wanderings, but without a mother's milk, he was growing increasingly weak. He neighed out, a weak and horse noise, hoping that someone would hear his plea for help and that whoever did had a kind heart. He then stumbled on his knees, weak and tired.
