What a peculiar little home...

At the side of the block, you instantly notice a blue and pink house covered in candy and webs! It stuck out like a sore thumb against all the other homes, decorated with tombstones and skeletons. Of course, this house was also decorated with such things--but everything was made of candy! It was as if you were about to set foot into Candyland.

But what if it turned out to be the wicked witch's candy house instead? Designed to lure you into her evil clutches...

No it couldn't be! You perish the thought as you stumble along a stone path which leads directly to the porch. There was a hot pink "Beware" written poorly on the door in what appeared to be some sort of strawberry sauce. Beside the porch hung two poorly-made lollipop sticks, barely clinging to the dirt they've been latched to. You can't discern if the intent is to be creepy or if the design of the house was simply a joke.

If anything, the décor was utterly adorable. Clearly its decorator didn't lack spirit! This made it incredibly charming, be it the wicked witch's house or a small plot of land made of candy. It made you fall victim to its charm either way, that much is certain.

You approach the quaint little home's door with the strong desire to knock. It is Halloween time after all! Time to go chirping “Trick or Treat!” as a stranger opens their door, hoisting packets of candy and treats into your bag! Or… perhaps you stumbled upon a home which would sooner trick than treat?

Nevertheless, the door opens to a massive, pink, cotton-candy fluff of a kalon. His smile was ever so sweet–-sweeter than any candy you could have eaten! Tart like Smarties with a fruity burst that stung your cheeks. Surely this kalon would never be the type to trick, right?





His smile was so gentle and kind… Welcoming, as if he had deemed you an honored guest.



You hesitate before reciting “Trick or Treat,” holding up your makeshift candy bag, which was truly just a pillowcase.





He chuckled softly before asking, “What are you supposed to be?”



What are you wearing for Halloween? You may answer this as your kalon or as yourself. Answers must be 20 words at minimum. Explain why if you have to!

Prompt: Selwyn smiles a bit self-consciously. "I'm dressed a merkal," he says, tugging on a silver tail that droops limply on the ground. "I didn't really anticipate how hard it would be to move around in this thing... or how heavy it would be, or how much it'd drag on the ground." He sighs, but there's still a fond glint in his eye. "It's a bit of an inside joke with my partner, and at least he thinks it's cute."

Prompt: Kaleido and Voxel look up and smile brightly. Kaleido twirls around in their brightly colored, rainbow polka-dotted attire, complete with hige squeaky shoes and a red oversized nose. "I'm a clown!" They exclaim, doing a small flip before landing with a squeak, then honking their nose and giving their host a wink. Meanwhile Voxel sighed out, shaking their head as they got a gentle elbowing from Kaleido. "Come on.... do the thing!"

"Oh alright," Voxel grumbled, before straightening up. They straighten their bowtie, before pulling out a microphone on a stand and giving a bow. "I am a radio host, pleasure to meet your acquaintance. I host the Midnight Hour, a show dedicated to everything spooky and strange." Kaleido sighed, shaking her head.

"Only you could make that sound so dull Bro..."

Prompt: What is Roman wearing for Trick Or Treating this year? Well. Roman is going as a McDonald's cashier. Yes he borrowed that uniform from a friend. No he is not enjoying himself. No he didn't choose this. It was a simple case of, "I don't have a costume" VS "hang on I got the perfect thing for you". He didn't have the heart to argue that this was not a costume. But he also still didn't have a costume, so he didn't exactly have a choice at that point, so this was the simplest solution; succumb to capitalism.

With the fangs and the fake blood dripping down her chin onto her collar, it's difficult to mistake her for anything else. "You could say I was... inspired by a new friend."

Beside her, Eloise blushes beneath their pallid makeup. "A-And I um - I-I'm a ghost," the timid kit offers. "Uh. B-Because I wish I could be uh - invisible sometimes, I guess? Like ghosts can. W-Well, s-some ghosts. Uh. I-I c-can't see them. U-um, m-most of them anyway. Sssso... th-they're i-invisible to me, at least." She hides behind the tattered veil of her costume, casting a quick glance to Deirdre for reassurance. Her shoulders relax at the nearly imperceptible nod from the other kit.
