I don't have any developments atm bc life has been too busy >.< However I am thinking about possibly disbanding or retiring (like stop going after) a couple of my collections :,) they are just too hard to keep up with so many and I don't love trading. I think I'm gonna stop collecting dwarf hams, bunnies, fennec foxes, snakes, & otters. Which kinda stings because I had all except bunnies complete at one point, but I kinda only have to the time to focus on my PPS collection (if I even have time for that). I also was going after store pets, but I think I'm done, trading kicks my butt.

I guess my question for you guys is how do you decide when you're done collecting? Do you liquidate it or just retire the group?

I simply don't stop - maybe I stop focusing on something and don't actively trade for it, but I will keep the pets on my wishlist.
LOLO is right around the corner and then we have Christmas season which brings Secret Santa and Holibombs, those three gifting games are usually allowed every year and can bring a big boost to any collection.

You could also simply temporarily remove them from your wishlist and add them again at a later date. I've never been a fan of liquidation, it sure helps in the beginning, but it also gets rid of all the work you put into your collection in the first place. And if you ever realise you made a mistake, well. You have to trade for them all again. :'D

I'd rather try to win in raffles or use adoption centers when I'm low on trade fodder, or try to get popular pets in the pound (not specifically rares, UC+ is also good fodder! Staff pets, event pets, dragons etc.). Off-site trades, C$ or art are also options if you are able to use them.

Hi it’s my first time posting on this thread! I’m working on collecting all the TD Zodiac dogs and I never thought I’d be able to but now I’m only missing two ! I’m holding out hope to find the final two I need, it’s going to be so satisfying once I finally reach my goal ^^

I also have 15 storepets left but that's a worry for another day. I can't believe after so long I am finally about to see "you have all the pets ever released" in the archive! Ahhhhh!

Currently I’m collecting all Foxes on CS. I’ve done a pretty good job with the collection, as out of the supposed 493 Fennec Foxes altogether, I’m only missing 26 Fennecs. And out of all Malks, I’m only missing 3.

I think I decided on collecting all Foxes about 2 or 3 months into playing. (Around about June—July.)

The only reason I’ve gotten as much as I have done in only the span of a few months, I think was relying on Commissions. It gave me the payment I needed to get most of the harder to get CS Foxes.

I’ve just now gotten the Space Fox, which I think was the only true potential roadblock in collecting all Fennec Foxes before focusing on the UR Fox.

Hey all! This is my first time posting on this thread, as I'm working on getting back into CS and participating in the forums <3 I just finished a three month process of tossing all my pets into one big group and then sorting them into year collections, with the ultimate goal of collecting every pet and item on CS! A big goal, but I love CS and I'm excited to finally have something to work towards with my trades. <3

I originally had them all sorted by individual month and year, but that just got to be too much to keep track of. Now they're all sorted by year only, which made the process go a whole lot faster lol. They're all also named based on the CS Wiki page up to about halfway through 2013, when the Wiki broke and the names started being more inconsistent. I saw a couple of threads somewhere that said they're updating that soon/working on threads with pet names, so that will be another project in the future!

Throughout this process I've gained an additional appreciation for some of the monthly pet designs, and there are some truly lovely litters that we've had! Eventually I'd love to pull my favorites out and have a display group for each year <3

I had recently joined chicken smoothie and have been collecting the felines of this site. I have over 300 felines. But I'm unsure if I want to continue collecting them as I'm thinking about just collecting Halloween pets. But I'm unsure if Halloween pets are difficult to get or not. Should I continue with what I originally wanted to collect or change my collection to Halloween pets? The reason for this decision is solely due to me changing my character preferences to monsters and dragons and therefore I wanna keep my pets in those species. But are Dragons hard to get as well? Thank you for the tips.

In my opinion, Halloween Pets are only harder to get if they’re a well liked design with a higher rarity. This applies to a good chunk of Event Pets from every kind of Event, though. Eventually you should get all of what you’re looking for, albeit some having major hurdles.

Now, onto species:
Cats have good demand, but Dragons have great demand. Dragons are harder to get than Cats, Dogs, or even Lions due to that fact, and you often have to be offering good Demand Pets to be able to get Dragons that are higher Rarity/Demand.

You probably won’t have to worry about this with Dragons that are OMGSC—UC, but by the time you reach even VUC in terms of Rarity, it becomes more apparent how much people expect you to offer at times.

To me, it doesn’t matter how Rare/Demanded a Pet or Species is, it won’t obscure me from my goal…but that might be a problem for you. So just giving you a heads up.
