I could always see them in my mind. The warm glow of the fireplace was warming my fur, and I was always purring. True happiness. True love.

It was bad luck that I find myself out here in the wilderness. Thankfully, I've found myself surrounded by other travelers who are all here for one reason or another, and often our goals align pretty well. Me? I'm searching for my way home. Back to my Twolegs who have loved me for as long as I can remember. We were separated by a storm, and I found myself in unfamiliar places and with unfamiliar cats.

But it isn't all that bad. I've found friends, even some cats I could call family. Yet, I will never stop searching, for I have known true love, and it is worn around my neck in the scarf that my Twolegs gave me. I will find them again. I have to. Love will always find a way.

Shark has always been a goofy presence around Wingspan, bouncing around and causing mischief. It was mischief that got them their necklace, a token which they now refuse to take off.

It had been a scouting day for the clan, and all the cats were rummaging through some rubble when Shark emerged, the gold necklace in their mouth. They had turned to Finch, a sparkle of incoming pranks in their eyes, and before Finch could say anything to stop them, Shark had thrown the necklace... which landed right on Hummingbird's head. It sent the clan into a frenzy, yowling about flying necklaces, until Shark finally fessed up that it was them. In a good-natured - but still slightly annoyed - huff, Hummingbird jokingly said that Shark was to wear the necklace for the rest of their tenure as a recruit. Though Hummingbird didn't mean it, Shark took the leader's jest to heart.

When most cats think about love, their first thought is typically drawn to the idea of mates. Perhaps two star-crossed lovers destined to be with each other for an eternity. Or, perchance, the love of a mother for her beloved kitten. Some would even claim such a love is like no other- a burden only a mother could suffer. However, for Robinflight, her love is far less recognized. For her, the love of a sister for her brother is truly the strongest.

As a kitten, Robinflight was frailh and sickly. The Servus constantly fussed over her, never leaving her side unattended. Death seemed to loom every corner for her, something her siblings couldn't quite understand. Well, that is, except for her bigger brother. Unlike her other siblings who would often fear and avoid her, her big brother Timberfur stayed by her side. Like the Servus, he was always quick to help her and never seemed to mind how sick she was. Countless nights were spent curled together, watching the stars twinkle through the gaps in the nursery ceiling. They'd share stories of their future together. Their plans to become Magister and Sybil Superior. To lead the Kin together. Robinflight never forgot those nights. And she is certain she never will.

Prompt: Ribbon’s greatest achievement? Well that has to be getting over his fear of mice. At first you would think, a cat afraid of mice? That sounds like nonsense right? Well when Ribbon was a wee kit, he was practicing hunting and got nipped in the nose by a mouse and decided he did not like them at all. He stayed away from them all his life, purposely going longer paths if he knew the original one had a mouse burrow. Well one day in Stardrop Hill, Swish was coming back from scavenging patrol and had brung back some mice for the clan, as they needed more food. She knew Ribbon was very busy so she brang two mice down to his den, to be friendly but when Ribbon saw them, he puffed up his tail, staring at the mice. Swish just smiled as she was thanked and trotted out. Ribbon wanted to appreciate the gesture and felt bad that Swish had gone all that way for the clan, so he took a deep breath and gulped one down. “Huh, not a horrible taste” he muttered, gobbling the other down. He decided they were rightfully tasty and now instead of fearing them, he respected them a bit more, he would hunt them sometimes and even walk a bit closer to the burrows when on walks around the territory.
