Well I felt like drawing but I didn't know what to do. I just started drawing a random shape and this poped into my head. Shading is bad, any tips on that? Thanks!

I think I used Nick's method. I used the same color on a multiply layer at the top. It turns the color darker somehow. (Never really understood it)

Ah, I see. :3 It actually isn't that bad... But some other methods would be using a light grey colour on a multiply layer, putting the light grey in the areas you want to be shaded. Ooooorrrrrr, you can use the burn tool, which is my favorite. ^^ I like to set the Opacity to 15% and cover the places I want to be shaded anywhere from 1 - 4 times, depending on what colour you have. For darker colours, I suggest one or two times, for lighter colours, I suggest 2 - 4 times. ^^
