I technically like trading for loooots of stuff at once, I'm just terrible at keeping track of what I'm offering, then proceed to cut it down to a size my brain can process, and then proceed to worry that I'll annoy people if I keep coming back for more trades lolol.
When I see people offer higher-rarity pets for bulk and I have what they want, I often go for it, but I find it very intimidating to have to figure out on my own how much bulk is an acceptable offer otherwise. "Give me 30 xyz for this pet"? You got me! "Taking bulk offers" I have a singular braincell rotating in my skull and the prospect of accidentally under-offering will now instantly stop it from working. Sorry!

I do the same thing but a lot of the times I’ll go through add a ton of things I want n then go to add stuff on my side only to find either they only have rare plus on their wishlist or all of my other hoards that I don’t wanna trade or I just get overwhelmed n back out n then I’ll go n forget that I didn’t send the trade n wonder huh why haven’t I heard back n then look and go oh yea

This right here. Exactly this. I am so tired of trading lately ngl...thank god for LOLO where I can just gift people and my hoards basically come to me passively.

Man if I had a free hoard pet for every time I tried trading with someone and find out their wishlist is super tiny & they only want wishlist pets... lol
Trying to trade for older hoard pets especially can be such a slog because the people who tend to have them for trade are the same people whose only leftover wishlist pets from those years are the rare ones, if any. That's what I like about trading with hoarders, there's at least a chance they're still looking for random commons/uncommons from those years too :'D

Don't have a pet to put all the specimen jars on tho. Got 141 atm, but they don't really look good when stacked bc of their transparency.
I hoarded those because my bf's screen name is Ice and I couldn't resist the urge to put him in little jars and shake him

People have also been kind enough to gift me some of their kitties for the project, and that helped a ton with trading for time-swaps. Overall, I’m feeling confident about it all.

I also wanna chat a bit about this. Yeah. I’ve really been feeling the burnout from trading too. I think it’s just due to navigating a lot of it? Especially now that there’s been a shakeup in values.

I’m starting to see more and more why people do hoarding as intensely as they do. Continuing a energy efficient, repeatable task with a feeling of satisfaction every single time VS treks to make every pet count where it’s taxing on energy…I see why you’d choose one over the other.

That being said, when you do get that successful trade for something you’ve been chasing all that time, it feels really damn good. And recently those kinds of successes have been more common for me. Especially because of doing my hoards the way I have. I’ll take what I can get.

Outside of hoards, I end up back-pedaling on a lot of trades. Lately though, especially with items, I pick out a few things I want to trade for and look at what they want first. If there's nothing in the range of the trade value, then I close the tab and move on.

I also do a Ctrl + f for "wishlist" and "items" to quickly look through their trade rules and focus on what I'm trading for. I do this after I see they have something I want. There's no point in reading the trade rules of someone you won't end up trading with that day

I feel the candy event is underrated and I don't really see many talking about the pets and items from the event.

I love the stacks of gears! That's a lot of the ice specimens too. Maybe you could add them to a large pet, like a dragon and space them out? I have a hoard of the syringes and I did that with them since they didn't look good stacked.

I've also been struggling to find more flux/majors recently, I thought it would be easier because they're only uncommon but I've been advertising a lot and barely get any trades with them unfortunately :')

it's been a long while since i've done any serious work with my hoards. it's been hard staying consistent on cs, but now that i've started a new job and have some extra time, i'm going to try and reach 7k sheep before the end of the year! i'm a little nervous, as i'm still 400+ away, but i'm staying hopeful c:



i also was able to snag 20 each of these guys for a couple of small hoards. the soot pillars are such a dream, and the staff dog is gorgeous!
