I'm hoping for the other Heir, and maybe a few more from Maraqua before stating the roleplay!

Bernard Illsbury | 34 | Male | Royal Physician
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Sexuality: Bisexual
Species: Tiefling - his horns are medium length, and bend backwards over his head. He has the power to see in the dark.
Kingdom: Solvale

Personality: Bernard is kind and caring. At least, to most people, that's all he is. He loves his craft, and will stop at nothing to ensure he can cure any ailment. As he acquires most of his ingredients by himself, he has been all over Solvale, and has met all kinds of people. He's quite open to meeting new people, and likes to view himself as an expert negotiator when it comes to buying things. He is always willing to make a cure for those who need one, and being the Royal Physician, he has become quite respected for his talents. He always ensures to keep a friendly aura about him, and considers himself friends, or at least neutral with everyone.

Bio: Bernard has been the Royal Physician for quite a while now, and he loves his job. He's cured all kinds of illnesses and pains for all kinds of people. He is very fond of reading or traveling to gather ingredients in his spare time, and likes to get to know people. Although he seems to be quite a open person, he has his fair share of secrets. After all, he never shows how he makes his cures, instead choosing to make them in a separate room to where his patients wait. And more hidden still, he has some books hidden away, one of them being a book on necromancy, a dark art he is quite familiar with. He uses these hidden books on magic whenever he encounters a problem he cannot simply make a normal cure for. Luckily, since his cures seemed to always work, no one ever questioned how he made them, instead simply allowing him to make them in peace.

Sexuality: Heterosexual
Species: Faerie - his wings are translucent, large and shaped like Hercules moth wings, and have a black and royal purple shimmer.
Kingdom: Solvale

Personality: Orion is a strict, but caring faerie, and the father of Andromeda Wispearl and Nova Wispearl. He is commanding and puts on a tough exterior to the public, however when out of the public eye he is more relaxed. Of course, this doesn't mean he's completely lax, even with his children. While he spoils them and ensures they gets whatever they desire in an instant, he can be quite strict with them, Andromeda especially. Being the ruler of Solvale, he has a tough, regal air about him almost all the time. Despite this, he's still polite and respectful to others, unless they upset him or anyone close to him. He's quite fond of traditional methods of doing things, however he isn't completely closed off to more modern solutions to problems.

Bio: The ruler of Solvale, Orion inherited the throne from his late father at the age of 30. However he was far from unprepared, his father had rigorously trained and prepared him for such a moment. As such, he lived a rather lonely life, despite being the heir and surrounded by servants all the time. He bears no grudge against his father though, instead glad that he was fully ready for the day he became the ruler. When he had a daughter of his own, he raised her like he was raised. From the moment she could read and write, he began preparing her for the day she would inevitably become the ruler of Solvale. He told her stories about her grandfather, and his amazing feats. As a gift for how well she had taken in his teachings, he gave her a violin, and of course hired the best violin tutor in the kingdom to teach her. He is very proud of how he raised her and wouldn't do things any differently. He also had another child, being Nova, however he found himself focusing on Andromeda more as she was the heir to the throne. Because of this, he allowed Nova more freedom in what he wanted to do, not spending as much time with him as he would've liked to, thinking back on it. Nowadays, he tries to split his time between his duties and his children evenly, however with the upcoming ball, he's fallen back into his old habits.

Going to ask here then, before making two more characters:
Would a stable hand be a thing in either kingdom? Like…do the faeries have some sort of horses or ponies, and or would the Merfolk have kelpies or some sort of other water equine? Maybe not kelpies, because my one character IS a Kelpie… but like Hippocampus.

I could also make like a gardener (for my second faerie) or a cook or something.
I just wanted to ask though.

I'm going to say no - I think with magi-tech, horse-less carriages/transport would be (if relatively new) a thing, though not used very often at all (and perhaps not really at all with Maraqua, being easier to just swim from place to place).

Gardener is fine though (and don't have to be a faerie).

Dominique has cocoa toned skin, and deeply dark brown eyes. She has plump lips, medium lashes, and nice hands for a gardener. Though often covered in dirt and dust because of this, she’s a pretty woman. She has shoulder length darkly colored curls. She also has a variety of clothes. She usually wears a shirt, shorts, and one of those buttonable overalls. Otherwise, she wears overall dresses, or the overall with shorts already attached. She also has some dresses and sun hats. Her wings are translucent and large. They resemble that of a spear-marked black moth.

Personality:
Dominique is quick thinking, witty, intelligent, as well as kind. She’s caring, loving, loyal, as well as a shoulder to lean on. She’s pleasant to be around, and likes to have company. However, she also can be quiet, seemingly too quiet; as well as worrisome, icy if angered, and sometimes nervous. She’s cold if angered, loud at times, likes a bit of mischief, as well as withdrawn. She can become peeved, and she likes to have her alone time away from people, which can cause some people to think she’s being rude or anti social.

Bio:
Dominique was born twenty six years ago. Her parents are named Amos and Annabelle, and she has a younger brother named Marcus. She grew up with him, of course. She got to help take care of him a bit, as she was six years old when he was born. The boy is now twenty years of age. She’s so proud of her brother. She became a gardener for the royal family of Solvale. She quite enjoys her job, as she’s loved flowers and being outside in the fresh air, ever since she was a very young girl; she also doesn’t mind dirt and mud.

Keenan has curly golden-brown hair which goes to his mid neck. He has blue-green eyes, aka turquoise or perhaps teal. He has lighter toned skin, and medium lashes. He has nice lips and nails, and he has a variety of clothes such as swimsuits and other things. His tail in siren form is a golden color. He also has a pendant from his mother.

Personality:
Keenan is a sweet and soft kind of guy. Although he can be shy as well as strong willed. He’s kind as well as caring. Though he can be icy as well as cold if angered. He’s loving and loyal, though loud at times and likes to be a bit mischievous. He doesn’t seem to be as mischievous now though. He also tries not to be icy or cold but it’s hard not to be. He’s friendly as well as smart, protective as well as gentle. However, can be fired up, stubborn, can be peeved, and he gets nervous at times.

Bio:
Keenan was born twenty five years ago. He has two parents, who are named George and Nina Wittmore. He has an older sister and brother, as well as a younger sister. His older siblings are Hyram and Issa, his younger sister is Morgan. He grew up loved and well cared for, educated and all. He then became a knight for the kingdom.
