He nodded, with a hum of agreement at her first statement. He saw many, many people, tourists and trainers alike. And, of course, the team of referees, announcers and other staff that helped keep it all running. Varius beamed, at what he presumed was a compliment. "Well, thank you. That was my goal - I mean, sure Pokémon have to earn a ribbon each for the main Central Dome, but otherwise, I wanted something that could be entered without any pre-requisites, and to encourage trainers to return as many times as they'd like." Varius glanced towards the training grounds, able to see even from this distance - not that it was particularly far away - the battle that had commenced on it, and had garnered a small crowd of trainers. Glancing back towards the woman, he asked, "So - which ribbons do you have left to get?"

He listened as Cliff and Azriel spoke, noting how different their teams were, and waited until there was a gap before telling them his team. "I have a Sceptile, Aggron, Seviper, Obstagoon, Flygon and Milotic." Ashton mentioned. His team was mostly Pokémon from his home region, Hoenn, with the exception of Obstagoon, of course.
Ashton then realised that he was really quite tired. He'd been meaning to go for a rest and had been stopped here. "Er... look - I'm really tired so I'm going to go to my room for a rest. Maybe I'll see you around." he suddenly said, and glanced at Azriel, "And you'll probably want to check in to your room. Before they think you're not coming."
With that, he started walking, into the hotel and making his way up to his room.

"Okay, here we go, Shelgon - brace yourself!" Juliet called out, and then suddenly had an idea. "Rollout to get close enough, and use Zen Headbutt!" Shelgon let out a sound of recognition, and then set off, rolling across the battlefield, coming into contact with the Aura Sphere, which made it come out of the roll, relatively unharmed - though slightly dazed from the sudden stop - before launching into a Zen Headbutt at the Kommo-o.
