Guh, I hate going to weddings. Got to get dressed up and wear the clompy shoes and brush my bangs back and act like I'm happy to be surrounded by strangers. I don't even have a kitchen to retreat to during the reception this time. (Yep, my solution to avoiding crowds at church gatherings is to find work in the kitchen. People give clear instructions, it's easy work, and nobody bothers the kitchen workers.)
At least I can zone out and try to work on some stories.

I am a huge Shakespear fan a I love Romeo and Juliet so it pisses me off when people get extremly incorrect about it. It is NOT the best love story ever written. Love doesn't prevail, they all die. It's a tragety. Also, Benvolio IS NOT a Montague. And Juliet isn't set to marry the prince, just a relative of the prince.

I make a cat drawing and make it into a superhero? My friend suddenly has a great idea and makes a superhero character, and then gets praised for having such a good idea.

And I feel jealous, because everyone likes my friends little sketchs, but when I make a fully shaded picture with a detailed background? Oh look. No one notices that.
