Aaron, I noticed you have not responded to this (probably because it wasn't stated where the name was found). In Aaron's pet group titled "idk", which is under "extra special hoards", it appears that Aaron's outcome from this year and last year are speaking to each other.

"Thank you for all you've done for me, and for keeping us safe the best way you knew how to." (this year)
"I'm scared to see you go." (last year)
"Me too, but it's time to go. Will you be alright?" -Sparrow (this year)
"I'll be with you, every step of the way." -Hemlock (last year)

It does not seem like Aaron named his outcome from last year according to his previous posts. Perhaps he decided to name it this year and created a story for his two kitties. If that is the case, last year's kitty is named Hemlock and this year's kitty is named Sparrow.

Aaron said he would reply to this with the story between these two, he has just been really busy.

I wanna say this is Seasonal's dog. It is very simple w/ no line edits which is common of their pets. Here's what I think distinguishes this as a Seasonal dog and not AquilaFuga's (who also leans towards simpler, non-line edited designs).
1. The heart. Seasonal has included little shapes in her designs such as 2022 and 2020 .
2. The eyes. The eyes are drastically different that the rest of the palette, which is also common in Seasonal's design. Seasonal also said their favorite part of their dog is the eyes, and the deep purple is very striking. AquilaFuga tends to stick closer to the palette for the eyes.
I really love this dog by the way.

Aw, i love tonight's doggo. Line edits are fun but I do love a nice simple design to round things out. And I love the little heart <3

Am a lil' bit late (I've been on a bit of a trip during this past week, so my apologies for the lack of hints or question answering), but you all for sure got me! :] I was honestly surprised by those who were able to identify the dog I made just from their pup stage, so I knew that as soon as they grew, I was going to be easily found out LOL >>;;;;

Anyways, this here is Chaos! They're a shy little desert dwelling Kaiju who prefers to stick to their lonesome self, exploring the wild landscapes and frequently enjoying their time basking in the hot sun during the daytime!

As far as their inspiration goes, I mainly made them in order to show my excitement after the announcement of Monster Hunter Wilds last year! I wanted to make a design that could potentially fit into the game's universe while keeping my own spin on it in terms of their markings. As for their physical traits and overall form, I took inspiration from horned vipers, deinosuchus, and alligator snapping turtles :]c I'd imagine they'd specifically be classified as a Fanged Wyvern with a neutral element, wielding a devastatingly powerful poison status effect that can be used to deal increasing damage and paralysis on their prey.

On the one hand, now I'd really love to see this guy in the upcoming Wilds; on the other hand I'd feel bad to hunt him 🤔 but he's gorgeous either way, I love that you chose Monster Hunter as an inspiration! 🤩
