v i'm not actually sure!! i just thought that it was a beautiful book haha - but that really piqued my interest, you saying that :) i collect antique books and now i at least know the author.. wouldn't it be cool to buy that book? it's so pretty.

i just found a second edition from 1902 on ebay, my GOD it's absolutely gorgeous >< you've really sent me down a rabbit hole now xD

i love the colours here, pastel purple is my favourite also is that an andrew lang book in their coding? I got very excited when i saw that because i do actually have the violet fairy book but a different edition
