Just want to pop in for a moment to claim the werewolf growth as mine! I wanted to do a simple yet fun outcome this year. With a supermoon and a partial lunar eclipse visible from some parts of the world, it seemed only fitting to make him grow on the 17th.

Anyways, his name is Rufus (because dogs and wolves say "ruff ruff")!

So he was a werewolf! I wasn't too far off then when I said he immediately reminded me of Remus Lupin from Harry Potter!

It always fascinates me how you can take my hints and go in an entirely unexpected direction (so there's still the intended interpretation to figure out!) and have this whole epic journey and still wind up at least in the general vicinity lol

Alright, CatMom, you at least partially have me, and the rest is flat impressed, so I'll confirm that there are wings involved. I will not confirm what kind of wings, though.

So maybe I should have gone the other way with climate change and how it will adversely affect all living creature causing larger storms and more volcanic eruptions and earthquake and other natural disasters? I was thinking that is the other thing you may be eluding to. But of course I always seem to take the lesser never traveled road when trying to figure out hints.

So the pup you guess to be Desmond's is literally named "feels Desmondy" in my group and has been since it came out from under the blanket. It fits his style, plus it reminds me quite a bit of Aidan who is in the stamp collection.

I have been looking at the clues too and thinking...not nearly as hard as you have...but I don't think avian is the whole answer because in the crossover between the dressups and the stamp collection, we do have geese, ravens, and falcons, but also snakes, horses, and cats. I haven't had the spoons to do much research, but I've had nagging thoughts about the symbolic and mythological associations of those animals and I wonder if they overlap anywhere. (Random fact that's probably completely off-base, btw: geese are associated with Geb/Seb, an egyptian god of healing, farming, and fertility.) I'm also kind of fixated on the ghost plushie and jar of Dream Sand.

All the ??? answers on sensory questions make me think the final outcome must lack the senses those questions relate to or at least experience them too differently for the question to be answered. As in snakes, having poor eyesight, wouldn't care to choose between the aurora and the milky way...and neither a snake nor a predatory bird would have a favorite fruit. Plus there's that ghost...

Aaanyway, that's my bunsen-burner-melted two cents for the evening.

@Avianahelena I love your thought process and where you are going with your ideas. I focused more on why I was thinking avian, but yeah, I do see how it is possibly a mix of different species/features. I was assuming Desmond’s pup lack a lot of the stimulus responses due more to its nature of not being part of our realm but part of the dream carriers/guardians of Desmond’s past staff pups so I didn’t focus as much on those answers, but now that you mentioned it, and also someone mentioned statue like pup, perhaps I overlooked this valuable information. After all, Desmond chooses his clues and answers carefully. I look forward to seeing your future observations 😊

I am thinking yours hasn’t grown, but I figured I would put some guesses up





The first one because you have done eye edits in the past
The second because you also have used plants in a past pup
The last one, because of the sprout, a small edit, and it is kind of a block of images

Ah man I totally missed this when it got posted, but I'll go ahead and deny the last one (but mine is at pup stage right now so its not a newborn)

I'm gonna be busy the next few days and over the weekend and I have a feeling its going to grow before I'm back so if no one gets the hint thats alright, I don't think anyone will be too surprised by it lol. If someone does find the hint though I'll be happy to confirm mine (and just going to be extra helpful here and say there is no text to find or interpret, and nothing in my pet groups).
